Worked for my backless wedding dress after disastrous NuBra attempt
I had a sheer, filmy, backless gown for my wedding dress--so what bra to wear? Nothing too padded or boned, as it would show thru the thin fabric. The days were counting down, so I went to my go-to lingerie shop in NYC (Journelle), and they recommended the NuBra and Bring It Ups (enlarged pasties that pull up the breast). My size is 36C/34D.But because i like to be prepared, I bought the Fashion Forms U Plunge Body Suit, as a backup. The Nubra -- a disaster. If you're a C cup and over, this provides NO support and actually drags down your boobs because of the extra weight pulling them down! premature sagging, NO WAY. I bought the largest size (D/E), and it the seams jutted out thru the fabric of my dress, my boobs spilled out the sides, and looked lopsided. Forget the reviews -- the raves are all from A and B cup women. There's a reason why bras are a physics/engineering feat -- you NEED straps or side boning to bring up the weight of the breast up. Without any structure at all, NuBra was a total waste of money.Bring It Ups -- super thin and seamless, but basically large pasties. Not only that, but i sweated on a hot day, and the adhesive totally un-stuck.Fashion Forms U Plunge Body Suit -- I bought the large which was a PERFECT fit for my bra size (36C/34D), although the rest of the bodysuit was not super tight (i'm a size 6, the the torso fits an 8-10), so it didn't have any tummy-sucking powers. Yet it wasn't slack either. just comfy. Even so, i still recommend buying for the bra size, not the suit size. The underwire cups, lightly lined, sit under the armpit so that your breasts are fully supported and pushed in. No thick padding. Adjustable straps provide a custom fit. The brilliant thing is that all along the back seam, there are tiny slits (at least 15-20) that you can insert the straps ANYWHERE YOU LIKE! there are a million ways you can modify this for a strapless, one-shoulder, cross-back, ANY-shoulder dress! The strap holding the cups in the front can also be removed if you have a front plunge dress. For my backless wedding dress, it was perfect and undetectable in the breast area. However, since the rest of the suit was not tight, the seams along the panty line were visible, along with the U-shaped area near the tummy. For this reason, I wore a pair of Spanx OVER the Body Suit to reduce the panty/tummy lines. If it was seamless, then it'd be the Holy Grail (Commando brand, are you listening?).My recommendation: Buy for the cup size, and if you need to tailor the rest of the bodysuit, take it to your local seamstress to get altered.

I hope this review helps you!
While buying this I went through all of the reviews and I honestly wasn't sure who to believe and I don't know what some of the body frames are and if I was dealing with folks who knew the limits of their bodies. So before I continue I will give my frame size. I am 5.2, 130bls, 34D, 29Waist, 36/37 hip. My torso is the longest thing in my body, my legs barely make second. I bought the nude xtra large.I received my body suit about an hour ago threw it on, put the dress over and found my first (and possibly only) problem. It's the dress that's the problem. This dress is sheer in the back and sheer in the front with embroidery coronating the front sides of the dress. While it is a beautiful dress, it is not to be worn by a 34D, who's breasts are beginning to sag. Even someone with A-Cup would have problems wearing the dress as it practically shows everything, if you know what I mean. They would need some fashion tape for sure.Albeit, the suit fits pretty well with the dress, considering. my back is completely bear (like I wanted), but the cup section shows which is a no-no. I will have to find my way around that. I threw on my second dress and it was a knockout! Plenty of cleavage and back out, this is a black dress, but you can barely make it out under the dress.By the third dress I realize the cup area may be too big for a spaghetti strap dress- and maybe for me. I still managed to fix it and liked how it looked over all. My point is, I'm realizing that I cannot wear both a backout dress and a front out dress. Cleavage, ok. I am big on top and God was not going to give me all of the blessings. The crotch is a thong and it fits like a thong (PERIOD). Where I found it to be a bit uncomfortable was were the front sides of the crotch. Basically where the snaps met. It rubbed against that area a little too harsh for me so I played around with it, until I got it comfortable.I plan to get the black one and I'm buying a large. Other reviews said that it ran small, I want to see how the cup area would look like if I had a size smaller.

Great for 34DD
I bought this bodysuit with low expectations, and I cannot believe that it actually works for me! Surprisingly, it provides as much lift as a regular bra. I wear a 34DD bra and size 6 pants, 5'6" and 135 pounds. I ordered the extra large after reading the reviews and it fits great! I needed it for a super-low backless dress and didn't need the plunge in front, but I got it anyway as it was the closest thing I could find. The cups are big enough, but they don't offer a lot of coverage in the middle so I used tape to keep things from bulging in the middle. It does run a little short, as the length of the extra-large is perfect for me and I'm not that tall. One criticism is that the "U" in front was quite baggy on me. I just had my seamstress bring the "U" straight up about 1.5 inches on each side right underneath where the center strap meets each cup. That did the trick! Several other reviewers mentioned the slits for the straps all down the side, which is great because you can put the straps anywhere you want. Before you move the straps take a minute to note the slits -- otherwise, they are really hard to find and you wouldn't even know they were there. I was planning to replace the clear straps (that's all it comes with) because I was afraid they would break, but they're so strong and stay in place so well I ended up using them and didn't worry at all. Other than the little fix on the saggy "U", I love, love, love this bodysuit, especially that it gives you a beautiful smooth, LIFTED bust in front, while it's totally backless and super sexy! For a DD cup, you must buy the extra-large.
