Flambeau Saltwater Tackle System

Being from Illinois, I really wanted my large Plano magnum satchel to work out, but alas, it was just too big for its lightweight plastic and mediocre construction. A latch broke, so I had to look elsewhere. I decided to try this flambeau bag, based on a good impression of one I saw in a store. I purchased from Amazon used, at a considerable discount, hoping it would just be a scuffed up floor model or something, and I was right. It arrived with all the original trays, seems unused, and the back side has a little discoloration, as if I'd care about that, it'll get more wear than that the first time it's on the Kayak. No original packaging, don't care about that either. The seller threw in a small spool of Ande 100lb leader too, or it was a mistake, either way that's pretty cool. Don't know the next time I'll be gunning for sharks or tuna, but it can't hurt to have it around. If the seller reads this and wants it back, send me a mailer.Anyway, this bag seems very well made. Nice big zippers, heavy material, plastic bottom, and the trays are well made. Haven't had time to transfer everything from the old box, and there's a lot, but so far so good. there's plenty of pocket space for big tools, and I got all my hard baits into one tray with room to spare. Not sure what I'm going to do with my big 1 and 2 oz spinner baits but I'll figure something out. Maybe a different type or brand of tray. Overall very impressed, and thrilled I got it for under $40.

Great fishing bag, all my buddies want one now. But of all the colors to choose, white is the worst. Fishing for tuna with live squid, on my first trip with the new bag. Maybe I should have covered it in plastic. With the blood from 135 tuna landing on the deck, and 25 fishermen doing the tuna shuffle, with live squid. My poor bag in no longer white.Fishing tackle is like your dog, if it's good to you,no matter how ugly it gets you still love it. Flambeau has done a great job with this entire line of tackle bags. Finally a tackle bag that puts a good zipper that will hold up in salt water. I haven't found a tackle bag with a zipper as durable as this bag. I will for sure get this bag in other sizes for different length trips. Despite the comments from the other fishermen about the color, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Tons of storage, does the job but WHY DOES THE OUTSIDE HAVE TO BE FABRIC!? It holds every single stain. The inside is lined with a stronger, water resistant material and has a hard bottom which is awesome. The boxes are strong and fit perfectly. Still recommend, but if you are even a descent fisherman, it won't look pretty for long.

Every tackle bag I've had, the zippers would get salt water on them and eventually they would not work, became "frozen". Zippers on these bags are nylon, I think, and they are not suppose to get stuck, "frozen" from salt water. Remains to be seen, but that what I was told by mgf.

I'm in the salt water three times a week artificial fish only and this is hands down the best tackle bag I have bought. Has great zippers very water resistant NOT prof. Don't get them confused, bag holds everything I carry and I still have room. All around great product and when the time comes I will be ordering another.

Nice bag, large side pocket hook and loop could have been aligned better. Would have preferred a darker color. Everything as advertised.

Nice box with good storage. It's a bit too easy to stain however.

Poor choice of colors, Stains and mildews pretty easily and doesn't clean up nice. I find myself having to fight with the main zipper. When loaded tends to fall over underway. Pass.
