This wasn't a quick repair but it worked great. It came with thorough instructions that covered the MX922 model. The directions had you soak the print head after removing it from the printer for 8 hours. I started in the afternoon so I let it soak overnight. When fully cleaned you are to let it dry. I wiped the cleaner off the print head but also let it air dry for about 4 hours. Reinstalled in the printer and did a printer head cleaning then printed a test sheet, perfect print! I definitely recommend. It saved me the cost of a print head at $90 to $130.

Used it on a canon ip8720 printer.I read the reviews, mostly very positive. I read and followed the instructions, and then followed with pure warm water rinse until the water ran perfectly clear. But there was no change in performance of the printer, even after several deep cleaning cycles separated by an overnight wait. After another day and another deep cleaning cycle - the test pattern was starting to come to life. Several more tries and now all looks OK.One color still has white streaks so I will do this again tomorrow. If successful, the cleaning kit will have rescued my printer...... Hopeful (and reasonably confident), I changed my rating to 4 stars

One of the nozzles (yellow) of my MX920 was completely clogged. The printer beeped and showed Error B200. Don’t you just hate that? Your printer works fine for years, then the POT (Printer Obsolescence Timer) goes off? Rather than buy another ink jet printer (which we’ve had to do about every 4 years), I decided to try this cleaning kit. When it arrived I followed the directions for soaking the printhead. Because of other work I had, It soaked for 18 hours instead of the 8 hours suggested. Then I did the rest of the cleaning according to the instructions. After a few false starts and complaints from the printer about how it had been shut off before, the first test page came out very good. Not as dark as I’d wish, but that will work itself out as I print more, and probably after I put new cartridges in. So this purchase was a winner, though now I have a blue thumb. Wear rubber gloves, is what I learned.

It is a good idea and it worked partially but not fully resolved so that is is useless for me.New printer or laser are better options now afterwards.

I had high hopes to fix my printers head unit. Nope, didn't do a thing. I followed all the steps, tried twice. Nada happening baby. After using this, I can see where this might work, but not on mine issue.

This stuff works great! I highly recommend it.Cleared up blocks in two old printers that had not been used in several years.One note, there is another brand sold her with an orange and white label, it ruined a printer of mine. Keep that in mind as you do your research.

The black ink on my printer stopped working. After replacing the ink cartridge, I ran several passes of automatic head cleaning but it still did not print black. I removed print head and cleaned it with alcohol but still it wouldn’t print black. I decided to try this cleaning product. In less than two minutes, I had successfully cleaned the print head. This product saved me from purchasing a new print head or printer.

I was super hopeful because when I cleaned a lot of ink came out but as you can see in the side by side comparisons they are exactly the same. I didn’t do it a second time like they recommended because I ordered a replacement piece. So I used it on that one because in reviews other people said they had to clean it before it used properly. I did several cleans and super cleans in print settings and did the enzyme cleaner and the after pic I show was the best one I got at the end. You can see there is a slight difference but still didn’t clean good enough for the paper to be legible.
