Broadlink RM Mini 3 IR Wifi Universal Remote Control Smart Home Hub Smartphone

I bought this as a cheap alternative to the Logitech Harmony Hub. I have this connected to my Home Assistant (HA) server (home-assistant.io) that manages all of my automations at home. This is setup to control my bedroom TV via voice and scripting. Every morning HA tells this to turn my TV on and tune to our local news channel then turn off later when we leave for the day. Its not much work but it does what I need it to do.The setup with the included Android app is easy and using the 3rd party Windows application Broadlink Manager I am able to capture the IR codes of any remote I point-and-click at the RM mini 3 for use in my automation scripts.I have run into no issues with this unit, all were related to my wireless network setup. If you want easy control of IR devices then this is a great unit. If you want full automation control then this combined with Home Assistant cannot be beat!
