This watch strap, the BluShark AlphaPremier Ultra Premium Nylon Watch Strap, is certainly one of the nicest straps I have ever owned. I got the Bengal Tiger colorway (a bright black and orange stripe), which is very sharp looking and extremely striking when paired with a black watch. The construction is very solid and the nylon material is extremely soft and hasn't frayed yet (a problem that seems to be difficult to avoid with the edges of nylon watch straps), due to the fact that it has (I am pretty sure) heat sealed edges. The keepers and buckle are made of stainless steel, and one of the keepers slides to help with getting the perfect fit. Having a small wrist, I appreciate this last feature. The only thing I am not too fond of (and this is purely a personal aesthetic choice) is the look of the hardware. I would personally prefer it to be a black PVD-type finish rather than the stainless, because I think black PVD would look better with a black watch, but YMMV. All-in-all, this BluShark AlphaPremier watch strap is excellent, both in looks, feel and construction. If you are looking for a NATO style watch strap, you should seriously consider a BluShark!

Awesome quality, it is very smooth and a bit slippery if that matters to you. The band is a little longer than others from the same brand.

The Alpha Premiere has slightly but noticeably thinner nylon and is a much more supple strap. The weave/grain is significantly finer, and the difference is obvious wth the regular Alpha when held side by side. I like the extra suppleness but it turns out after months of going back and forth between the AlphaPremium and the regular Alpha that the thicker stiffer Alpha is more comfortable to wear. The extra suppleness of this Premium makes it move around more on the wrist—slight but you can feel it's a more flexible band—so it falls more back/down toward the wrist bone and must be repositioned. Those of you with skinny, boney wrists know what I’m talking about. It’s best when worn fairly tight so it stays in place but then sometimes it feels too tight as your wrist changes a bit over the course of the day. But if you re-buckle it one hole looser then it really falls around on your wrist. Meanwhile, the regular Alpha can be worn comfortably various adjustments because the bit of extra stiffness/thicker nylon means it stays in place comfortably without having to be cinched down tight.Needing to cinch the AlphaPremium down more also means the (square) buckle hole deforms as the supple nylon stretches and bulges. Looks like this is harmless to the band (no tearing or fraying on my two Premium examples) but it means it loosens up a little as it settles in. This is fine If the end result fits your wrist but all of this makes the AlphaPremium is less versatile for fit and you really need that hole to luckily be in the right spot.The AlphaPremiere is noticeably more glossy than the regular Alpha. The “tan” I received is too glossy and looks more shiny gold than tan and doesn’t work as khaki either. I also have the Premium in green and it looks great.Except for the classic grey and black stripe, my preference is for solid colors on a NATO strap. I know a lot of people like the colorful stripes and BluShark may be following Omega's lead on this trend because I see mostly stripes in the Premiere's offerings. Here's hoping they keep some traditional solids in warm/plain colors in the Premiere line-up, and maybe offer the espresso brown color the Alpha includes, and a real khaki.

The media could not be loaded.  First impressions were not great even though the material seems to be hardy, time will tell if it will distort.After wearing the watch for about 2 to 3 hours on the nato, I hardly noticed I was even wearing a watch. On the other hand, the original bracelet would be either too tight or too loose. No easy adjustments and that's to be expected on this price range. If the product stands the test of time, I will be back.

Picked up a PADI Seiko Mini Turtle Pepsi JDM and was having a bit of buyers remorse. Went through my box of 20mm straps and could not find a good fit and the default band is boring. Bought this nato (blue/red) and it really made a difference. Great quality and good hardware - not too think or thick. Good price - sounds odd for a nato but I have several premium and cheap nato straps and you can feel the difference. As for a more premium nato this meets the quality standard at a lower price. I don’t like that ‘Blu Shark’ is etched in the clasp but it’s small and not really noticeable unless you look closely.

Soft and very comfortable, definitely worth the upgrade from the original BluShark straps. Works fantastic on my Speedy and compares well to my Omega straps (at a fraction of the cost). The Silver Fox color is a great twist on the classic gray nato.
