I have the same story as basically every other reviewer - these tips aren't the most durable but they are an investment that I will continue to make! I do a lot of writing on my iPad (I work at a law firm during the day and go to law school at night and use my iPad for everything. Notes, annotating ebooks, briefing my cases, emails, drawing charts to illustrate estate plans, etc.) and I've made it about three weeks before I realized something has changed with my tip. It's squishier, not as precise, and the drag isn't worse but it's different. At first, I was a bit frustrated that I am going to have to change the tip again. I wouldn't be surprised if the tip change became a weekly thing. With that being said, eight tips for $11 is about $1.30 per tip and I feel like I get about that value from it so I will be included in the group of people looking for something better but happy to keep buying in the meantime.Also, the fact that this product stops the tapping noise makes it worth the money in my opinion. That is so annoying.

Just finished a week of drawing every night using these covers, and in short, I am pleased. It took a few minutes to get used to the feel, but it greatly improves control over lines when drawing! I’m not sure how long it will last, as many reviewers have commented on their lack of durability. If these covers were thicker, they might last longer, but wouldn’t be as accurate. I’d say just decide if you’re willing to spend a couple bucks a month on improved drawing accuracy, and if so, get these or something like it. And definitely put a new Apple Pencil nib on first, because if that is worn down or sharp, you’ll tear right through these covers. Now I can imagine applications, like shading or anything requiring highly-nuanced pressure sensitivity, where I would temporarily remove this cover. But they definitely serve a purpose. And while I of course wish they were twice as cheap... I already ordered another box!

Difficult to fit onto Apple pen, did not last long. Poor product

These Apple pencil nibs definitely quieted the Apple Pencil ‘tap dance’ on iPad sound I used to make while taking notes. But my advice is to be realistic. You can’t expect soft thin silicon to cause world peace. Because it is flexible it will become more flexible with time and high temperatures. So, if you are careless and don’t expect them get lost...move on. If you expect ‘nibs to stick like barnacles and hang onto your Apple Pencil through every kind of abuse you dish out, FOREVER...for just $13, you’ve got the wrong product.You’ve been warned. Move on if you want to blame the product for being temporary... because it is.Be prepared to loose a few if your iPad Pro goes everywhere with you, or until you realize you should store them in their case or keep extras on hand. If you use the Logitech keyboard it has a nice wrap around the pencil when it is magnetically attached and charging for added protection. Just a quick glance should save you the heartache. But, just store the in their case already...

i love these nibs! i wish apple would have just made the apple pencil tip the same as these nibs. It would have saved a few steps. Fortunately, we have these hubs to save our bad apple pencil tip experience. I am a left handed writer with bad penmanship. i wanted to try writing Ina journal using my iPad and a pencil. Amazingly, it works great, but the tap tap of the pencil against the screen is distracting and annoying when late night journaling. So i look up pencil tip covers for the apple pencil on the amazon store, and what do you know? - there is all kinds of choices for just what i am looking for. These nibs actually help improve my handwriting - the feel is very nice and smooth and soft. Best of all, the writing is completely silent! A huge plus, actually the whole reason i was looking for these

I want to preface by saying that this is a great product! I bought these at the beginning of the year for my Apple Pencil and was super disappointed because I wasn’t using it correctly. I just slid the tip on and when I wrote, the tip would move and squish and make it really difficult to write legibly. NOW I AM OLDER AND WISER. I saw a video recently saying that you have to unscrew the Apple Pencil tip first, put the silicone tip on, then screw the Apple Pencil tip back on for this to work correctly. I was dumbfounded! I don’t know if it said that in the product description and I missed it or what, but upon trying out this trick for myself 🤦‍♀️ It worked!! I left the seller a not terrible but not great review the first time around and I feel so bad!! I just wanted to update my review and leave instructions for anyone else who might make the same mistake I did!

I like the idea of this product because I find that writing on my iPad can feel very slippery and I don’t want to use a paper like screen protected because screen quality is important to me. These little covers definitely add friction and make writing on the iPad screen more comfortable. They do exactly what I bought them for and they do it well. My only issue is that the don’t last very long. I’ve gone through about 3 in a week or two. I only use my pencil on occasion for taking some notes at work or while playing dnd so I’d imagine if you are a heavy pencil user you’ll go through these very quickly.

One will definitely require the 8 of them for half year to one year use. These were a neccessity when taking notes in class to prevent the click, click, click of the pencil, but if you are a heavy user, you will go through the nubs quickly as they will crack and loosen. they stay on with no problem and glide (at first) like a dream, progressive wear will see them sticking and bending on surfaces. There is no disruption in fluidity if writing, even when becoming worn.
