The media could not be loaded.  Simple to operate. Click the button on the side in to open the light and then fit it around the pole and it fits perfectly snug and doesn’t slip or slide down. To remove simply click in again and it clicks open. It does state in the description it should be removed when raining so I presume it is not waterproof, but the umbrella would be up when it’s in use anyway so doesn’t really make much difference.It can be turned on 2 ways either on the light itself or the remote that controls the various modes. This is where the fun comes in (for the kids – who love the “novelty” of different colours (16 multi colours) that flash and dim etc, personally I prefer just the plain warm white.The fault I see overall is that it doesn’t charge with a USB but instead takes x 6 AA batteries which are not included, and this is my main concern. Initially, I inserted “no brand cheapies” and although the light switched on it wasn’t bright enough as it got darker to see our cards clearly. So, we lowered the light down on the pole closer to the table and it worked better but still not as expected and as displayed in the description photos of bright light over the table! I considered that the batteries were possibly not powerful enough so used our good brand rechargeable batteries and there was a clear difference in the display of lighting. So, you must use decent batteries.Usually, if we’re going to sit outside and play games it is in the Summer (which already has long light hours), so how much we are really going to use this remains to be seen. It’s a novelty gadget and will only really be used at certain times of the year.

Absolutely fabulous

This is good it fits our new Cantaleaver umbrella. Sadly it only has bright light on the warm white setting.... the others are so dim you cannot see. On bright white it’s great.

saw this and read the reviews which were mixed but so far been really pleased. easy to fit, really bright white light and remote control is a bit of fun with all the other colours and effects.cant advise on battery life yet as only had on over the weekend. would definately recommend though on my experience so far.

Very impressed with this color changing outdoor light. It seems sturdy enough and install with no problems. Ideal for the parosol. excellent service product as described! There are 16 color changing and there is also have dimmer set. It's a great light overall!

Absolutely brilliant, easy to fix and the quality of the product is very high. Was able to play chess and back gammon with the light on full brightness, then enjoy a nice glass of wine with the lights dimmed and a softer colour used

I had to 'doctor' the fixing because my parasol pole was a slightly larger diameter. Worked fine
