I had never heard of this stuff before, and I'm a naturally skeptical person when it comes to supplements and remedies like this. Very skeptical. I'm a chronic pain patient from an aircraft accident years ago- my days are filled with main from multiple sources. Joint pain is a real problem, as well as inflammation and headaches. Over 20 years of dealing with it and trying lots of products and methods.This stuff smells really interesting. To me, it smells great but doesn't strike me as the kind of smell one associates with food. Luckily, the taste doesn't match the strong spicy smell.Over the last weekend, I overexerted myself and the pain is significant in my joints and associated muscles. I tried this product following their dosing guidelines and the pain in my knees in particular seems to diminish quite a bit. Late in the day and many hours since the first dose, I noticed my knee pain when walking was getting worse as it often does late in the day. I again followed their dosing guidelines and took more. It really did appear to reduce the pain and inflammation. Correlation isn't causation and it will take more experimentation to determine if the Boswellia is the actual cause for the relief or not- but so far, it really does seem to work. Considering I'm a skeptic to the point where I actually look to debunk claims by products like this- this one, so far, has me convinced that it works. It's no miracle cure for everything in the world like so many things claim to be... but it is now part of my daily routine and appearing to help significantly.I will update this review if I can either prove or disprove the functionality further. As for now, as a veteran of chronic pain treatments for over 20 years I can say without a doubt that I've seen improvement in the last week of using this.

I take Boswellia for inflammation in my hands and for neck and shoulder tension and pain, also migraines and migraine prevention. This bottle arrived yesterday which is great because I had a stubborn migraine and a lot of neck, ear and jaw pain that was not giving up. I took 3 of the capsules after a day of no luck, and within an hour I felt some real relief. I had already taken one rx dose for migraine and it didn't work. It ended up being one of those days when I did have to take two, but the boswellia had a calming effect, a warming affect to my neck and head. I slept soundly all night. I had just ran out of the boswellia brand I have used for years. I usually take one daily, and three for actual pain. I'm glad to know these work, and at the price listed they are a really great value. I love the capsule form rather than tablet. The brand I typically use only offers a hard tablet and it's harder to swallow when you don't feel well. As a side note, this bottle is full, which is nice for those of us who order a lot of supplements and many bottles are only half full, with a lot of empty space and the question of 'resources and waste', it's nice that they fill the bottle.

I have been taking Boswellia daily for many years--another brand. This one seems at least comparable to the one I'm taking in potency and good manufacturing processes. It's 60% boswwellic acids and normal one is 65%, yet I have not noticed a marked decrease in effectiveness for my pain. Maybe slightly less potent only. But for most people, this will be a fantastic pain/inflammation relief product. Just the fact that it DOES list the b.acids makes it trustworthy In my book.I take Boswellia for fibromyalgia and an autoimmune arthritis that affects my large joints, eyes and urethra. Boswellia has been a lifesaver for me--allowing me to get off of all the harsh NSAIDS and narcotics and steroids. It works better or as well as them anyway with no harmful side effects. AND it's been clinically proven in medical research trials to kill some cancers as effectively or MORE effectively than chemo drugs--with NO side effects. This is a huge breakthrough when you consider that chemotherapy kills as many people (or more) as it helps.In case you don't know--Boswellia is the scientific name for Frankincense.
