Too much stevia, pass for me
Tried these two protein powders, and the Amy Meyers beat the Ultimate Paleo no question. The Ultimate Paleo had a stronger stevia aftertaste (and was also sweeter) than the Amy Meyers. I got the chocolate and didnโt notice any beef flavor in either. The Ultimate Paleo was more like a milk chocolate, while the Amy Meyers had a more bitter dark chocolate flavor. I also tried mixing these with banana, PB2 and milk, but decided it wasnโt worth the extra calories. I used a Vitamix blender, so I canโt compare how these would do in a Blender bottle, but they both did well in a blender.

It's okay
I've used chocolate-flavored protein powders before but never had a type that smelled or tasted like this. It isn't horrible, but I try not to smell it while drinking it. I realize taste is a preference, and giving it fewer than five stars for my personal preference doesn't seem right.I would return this for a refund, but it isn't eligible for returns. The good things about it are that it blends easily, isn't overly sweet like others, and is made of wholesome ingredients.

Finally!!!!!
LOVE this. I have celiac, dairy allergy, SIBO along with likely candida. Sad stomach over here. I was doing egg white protein but realize that can be inflammatory. After tons of research decided on this. Amazing! No stomach issues at all on my lowfod diet. I have the chocolate and it mixes great with just water. Ordering vanilla now. Worth the price. Drink one after my work out.

Happy!
Didn't know what to expect. This was a new brand for me and never had beef protein powder. Very happy. Delicious, thick and creamy texture, no weird tastes - just a not-too-sweet dark chocolate flavor. I hate protein powders with that sickening sweet aftertaste - this one doesn't have it. I am allergic to, well, almost every protein powder out there so finding one truly free of allergens, with probiotic support and L-Glutamine was a great find. Even better that it tastes yummy. Thanks, well done. Will keep buying for sure.

Best tasting protein shake I have ever had
Best tasting protein shake I have ever had. It works best with a blender bottle. Tastes great with coconut milk or water. It's also nice because of the specific hydroBEEF that's spelled and upper cased like that. It's amazing.

Blends Well, Chocolate Ice Cream Taste
This is my first time trying UPP protein, but it won't be the last. I like that this is beef protein, I prefer it over other types like soy and pea, it has a much better taste, and you get 22 grams per serving. I didn't order it for the collagen peptides that are in it, but that is a nice addition, I know that it helps with skin elasticity and joint pain. I do a lot of mountain biking and have noticed that my knees feel better than they did before after a long ride, so I think this powder is effective.I have mostly been using this with water or almond milk in a blender and it mixes completely, no clumping, and there is no grittiness to it at all. As far as the taste, to me, it tasted like chocolate ice cream, not too sweet, but pleasant. I added some coconut flakes to it and it tasted more like German chocolate, very tasty. I have not experienced any digestive issues or any other side effects. The expiration date on the bottle I received was April 2023, so it was fresh with more than enough time to use it.

TASTE BETTER THAN MOST....BLENDS, EH.
Ultimate Paleo Protein just seems like something I can get behind for my weight loss and healthy lifestyle journey. The list of ingredients seems safer than most. The price is something that I can afford and maintain in the long run should it work out for me.First thing I look for when the product is in front of me: Is it sealed well? Very important. I just don't trust anything not sealed well especially when it comes to consuming health drinks and supplements. This was sealed very good. Product appeared fresh in the container. Not a lot of settling. The pic might show it looks very low but actually I'd say it was at the middle mark of the container. Not bad. It still is a lot of product inside. The shake? That was okay. I actually had a bit of trouble getting a good blend and that annoys me a bit. I do have a shaker bottle along with a shaker ball, but I still had a bit of trouble, and I am not sure why because it doesn't seem anyone else had that issue. (I was trying to look for tidbits). It's not the worst thing but texture wise in my mouth was not fun. I managed. The taste is good. Not great. I mean, it's a healthy drink. I don't really find them to be the most pleasing anyway. This one was manageable. Had a close enough chocolatey taste when tried with cold water but I wasn't that much of a fan. I tried this with almond milk, and I don't think I can have this with anything else because that was pretty good. No stomach irritations. I hope in the long run the benefits of taking this drink are all gains and improvements. For now, I feel good, I get fuller quicker, and I like that I incorporated this into my daily routine.

Tastes good; mixes easily; really expensive
Item: "Ultimate Paleo Protein Powder | Premium Grass Fed Beef Protein with Collagen Peptides | Paleo Friendly, Gluten Free, Keto Friendly, No Artificial Sweeteners or Preservatives - Chocolate, 15 Servings"~This tastes really good - it's more of a "rich chocolate" kind of flavor rather than milk chocolate or something lighter.I've been mixing it with water, and it seems to mix equally well regardless of the temperature (cold, room temperature, or heated ahead of time in the microwave). I don't have a mixer bottle with one of those little metal balls, just a regular plastic bottle I've been putting it in. There are initially a few clumps stuck to the sides, but if I let it sit for several minutes after shaking it up, those all dissolve on their own.The powder itself sticks together a bit more than whey, so it's harder to get it to pour down the funnel I use, but it just means tapping the funnel against the bottle opening a few extra times while I'm doing that. The only con for me is that it's so expensive. I'd get it again if it weren't for that. The one I got in September 2022 has a "best by" date of April 30, 2023. It came with a plastic seal around the lid, and a tamper seal on the inside too.
