This has lasted for over 6 months without ever being unplugged. The temperature is gentle and constant, and you can find my kitty laying on it most of the time.

It took a while to get my cat (15 years old) to understand that "brown square is warm" but now he lives on it. Definitely looks happy and comfortable warming himself there.

My cat loves this heating pad. She uses it most of the time. There isn't really any temperature control but its just warm enough that my cat loves it. It doesn't get overly warm. Usually, all my cat wanted was to sit on my lap all the time. She still wants that from time to time but now that she has somewhere else to get warmth I am able to get some more housework done without her following me everywhere.

Quality cover, padding and overall construction. It runs just a few degrees too hot for my little guy however. It would be perfect for most dogs, if it was just a few degrees cooler. Decent product might be just right for other dogs.

his old bed quit working ands so I odered this one for him and he loves it. the heat is just right for him he is an older cat 15 years old.

Got this one in particular because the description says it runs at a constant temperature "only when your pet is in the bed." It doesn't have any kind of sensor. It's just a heating pad that is constantly on 24/7 at a low temp. I don't want to run it 24/7, when the cat is out most of the day, or when the sun's out and it's warm(ish) and not needed at all.With that misleading description, I went with this one instead of others with temp controls and/or timers. This one you plug it in and it's on 24/7. No temp control. No timer. Not even an on/off switch.It is a nice, low temperature, and sitting on it in a chair it very slowly warms your buns. I suspect the cat would love it. If you don't mind this thing using energy constantly, then it might be just what you want. Not for me, though. Returning for something else that's either adjustable (temp and timer), or has an actual pressure sensor so it's not constantly on.

Bought the Medium to completely cover the bottom of a cat cave I made (an upside down styro cooler with a hole cut out) for a kitty who likes to sleep in my unheated garage. Seems much toastier than before (i.e., I would put my hand in the box to pet her and the air was cold inside, even though I insulated the box well). This pad makes a world of difference. Kind of wish there was a temperature control since the temps go up and down alot in Utah and when it's a warmer day/night it might be too hot for her inside. I didn't think about the larger size mat producing more heat and now wonder if I should have gotten the small size. But for the price, it's really sturdy and the cover is soft but I put a fleece cover on it anyway. The cord is fairly long (I'd guess 3-4 feet which is good) so factor that in when you are getting an extension cord.

I got this for my cat, Posh. She has K/D and is 16 years old, I figured aching body must be a thing by now. She used to sleep on the cable box because it gets so hot, note used to, not anymore. Now she sleeps on the pad. The only downside to this pad that I have noticed, is that she is shedding a lot.

I have purchased two of them. I specifically purchased it for my 16 year old four paws baby. Heat is very good for cats. Our three cats fall in love as soon as it warmed up. I leave it plugged in 24/7 so that my older cat has warm bed. I wish that I had purchased it years ago.

My cat loves it, its very good stays on 24/7 if you want it off youll have to unplug it. Its not super hot but it dose get very warm for the pet and even for a human the longer its on the body the warmer it feels right.
