Fooled. Didn't read the description carefully. It is not a real African dress. It is a print on a material that is not cotton.Just went back and read the description so it is obviously my fault. Still they shouldn't be making fakes.

Beautiful design and very good fit but really poor material
The dress fits very well. The dress is well designed and is beautiful however the material is polyester rather than the traditional African cotton dress. The dress feels really cheap if you know what a starched cotton African dress should feel like. You can tell its cheap just by looking. Best way to put it is like wearing what looks like a man's pin-stripe 3 piece suit that has been printed on a pyjama. As a result my wife will not even wear the African dress. I would have been happy to pay double for dress if it was cotton.
