Acrylic Kalimba 17 Keys

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my niece after an afternoon of researching reviews for all the options available at this price point. I ultimately settled on this one for two reasons: a) it's incredible pretty; and b) the demo video was playing a tune from Inuyasha, so I was basically instantly sold. This little kalimba is EVERYTHING I hoped it would be. Right out of the package, I immediately wanted one for myself! Every note is perfectly in tune, and I can even play the first few notes of the Inuyasha song that sold me on it, after just one or two minutes of acquainting myself with this new instrument. I know my niece is going to love it, & I can't wait to see her face as she learns to "pluck" her first tune. ;-) Thank you so much for such a high quality product that's easy on the wallet!

Easy and fun to use. Not so loud that kids learning to play would be annoying.

I just got it so I am judging only by looks and I think it deserves 5 stars, also comes with fingers silicone protectors (I'm not sure if that's what they are called) and the other accessories described, the tune hammer, the stickers (I already placed them on the kalimba) and the case feels very sturdy, I'm really happy with this purchase and can't wait to learn some songsUPDATE: I love this instrument, really easy to learn songs and so relaxing if I could I would give it a higher raiting, if you want to learn to play an instrument but don't have time for classes or practice a lot this is a really good option

This was a present for my granddaughter, and she LOVES it! She started playing each note and writing down rhythms, and soon found the correct notes for the Beauty and The Beast song. No Experience and No YouTube Videos WHATSOEVER. If you want to learn a easy instrument, this will be your best friend!

This is my first ever kalimba and I am in love! Sounds are crisp and kind to the ears. The acrylic base has some weight to it but it feels sturdy. The only complaint i have is the stickers that came along with it. It did not line up with the keys well. Overall a beautiful piece.

The media could not be loaded.  I love it. It sounds beautiful. More music box sound like than a wooden kalimba. And the end tines actually sound great. It is heavier than a wooden hollow kalimba. It is very quiet. I don’t know if that’s a negative or a positive because some people might like it louder. This one is not loud at all.

I tried it out myself since I love music too and learned to play this Merry Christmas song in just a little over an hour! I’m now thinking to buy another one for myself:)

It’s absolutely beautiful and so aesthetically pleasing! The highest notes on the outer side do sound a bit metallic but its a great instrument for beginners.A perfect gift <3

I was surprised at how beautifully put together this is. I have no idea what it is supposed to sound like to a professional, but we think it's a pretty sweet little instrument.

The kalimba has a very nice sound and easy to play VERY RECOMMEND
