Good for salad
I had actually hoped these would be slightly deeper so that I could use them for soup as well as salads, but they're a bit shallow for soup. They do well for individual salad bowls and that's what they were sold as, so I shouldn't have thought they'd double as soup bowls. They are a good size for what they are supposed to be used for - salad bowls. Thanks.

The bowls are perfect for serving pasta.They are a good size for a family meal. Really nice shape and depth to the bowls. Well made, nice and smooth. Nice stylish design.Great value for 6 bowls.
