Get Through PLAB Part 1: 500 Single Best Answer Questions 1st Edition

Im not sure how much this book helped me on the PLAB but I am sure it didnt hurt. Good book to help study from.

it's really a useful book for preparing plab part 1 exam. but it hasn't any explanation for the answers. overall it's a goo one. you can go for it.

Not the best book out there. Would be helpful If they explained some answers.

In real PLAB, you will get detailed case scenarios with history and lab findings for each and every question (thereby limiting the time you get to answer to a few seconds). This book was published in 2006 and doesn't reflect current testing methods although this is the only book with the current question format (Single best answer). Only about 30 percent questions have explanations and that too an abrupt one. Also there is no reference to the guideline it was based on. So clealy this book is not for PLAB beginners. The good thing is you can get acquainted with a lot of PLAB relevant conditions and keywords.If you tried all other available prep options and you feel thoroughly prepared and have free time, sure you can play with this.
