I was looking for improved FPV capability for my Q500 and this booster has done that. Installing it with a directional antenna on my controller practically solved frozen or loss of video. Beyond 2500ft! This works great. It is a little smaller and lighter in design than their regular gray housing version. Install it with Velcro strip on the controller and it stays in place on the controller plus makes it easy to remove for storage. I do recommend these for anyone wanting a "boost" in signal to help in video/pictures and longer distance control. For the record, I maintained video from my Q500 to an impressive(to me) 3543ft!
