We use the clamp to hold our dryer hose to the outside vent.It makes removal and replacement of the dryer hose much easier.We clean the dryer hose weekly of lint to prevent any fire hazard. As anyone whocleans this on a regular basis knows it can be frustrating. This clamp makes thejob much easier and quicker.

Not Quite the Grip I Expected
I had the screw-type clamps on my dust collection hoses which are the standard vinyl coil hoses. I was struggling with moving the hose from tool to tool because screwing and unscrewing the clamps was a real pain in the you-know-what. I decided to give these a shot to make transitioning between tools easier and while it does that job superbly, the grip is just not there. I might as well not even use them because the hose comes right off as if they were not even there. Very disappointed and I will not buy any more, nor will I recommend these to any friends or family.

The product worked great as described but I had to pay for two (as advertised) and only received one. This omission has yet to be resolved by Amazon.

Works well - easily change vacuum connection
Allows easy reconnection of my dust collector to planer/thicknesser, bandsaw, and floor sweep. No need for a screwdriver.
