Nice upgrade for a standard toilet without nearby power
Great little Bidet seat - Soft closing lid and weight bearing to at least 195lbs for those times you need to sit with the lid closed. Like a lot of toilet seats - it is plastic and appears thin but, the build quality is solid. The color is not quite the porcelain/ivory white of a standard toilet but looks nice. It is also nice that, when the main lid is opened, you see the words "Alpha One Bidet" at the back of the sitting area. This should help visitors to recognize the side knob is not a means to flush.Comes with ALMOST everything you need. High end metal t adapter (no regulation valve on the adapter) brass interior elements for connecting water to bidet. You may want to order a new water line hose if its been some time since you installed the one you have already. This will alleviate some frustration with potential leaking issues. The non flexible metal hose types will not work either.Like others have said, the metal screws are not the most flexible option. They are thinner and allow a lot of play at the mount point. It would be nice if they were replaced with a metal screw that mirrored the included plastic ones. The plastic ones fit larger toilet mounting holes and can be tightened better to stop seat slippage. The plastic ones DO get a little tight to move as you get further down the threading long before you hit the point of reaching the bottom of the toilet. Keep a wrench handy! In Use - YMMV depending on home water water pressure. The instructions do recommend you start the flow of water by slowly turning the control knob until one of the two (one for front, one for back) nozzles extends and starts to spray. This also appears to be how the nozzle are "self cleaned". Be careful if you have solid water pressure though...the max level of spray is INTENSE and may make you jump off the seat!Temperature-wise - it is ambient temperature but not uncomfortable or too cold. As it doesn't use any warm water, it may limit your ability to use this for an extended period without stopping the water flow. All in all, a nice upgrade to the guest bathroom!

the water pressure is good enough for the job
I ordered one for the restroom without the electric outlet. The bidet looks decently, the water pressure is good enough for the job. It could not compare with the electric one I had in another bathroom. The bidet has dual nozzles, therefore, the water spray is either little bit to the left or little bit to the right. You have to move around to hit the right spot. The T connector and the water hose are good metal. The installation was easy but the T connector had a tiny leak at the end connected to the toilet tank. It did not matter what I tried, the leak was still there. It took me an hour to figure out that the T connector did not have an O ring seal. I had to make a trip to the Home Depot to buy the O ring seal to fix the leaking issue.I am happy with the unit for the price I paid.

DISCREET LOOK UNTIL YOU LIFT THE LID THEN YOU KNOW IT'S MORE THAN A TOILET LID.
Over the years, this is my third bidet purchase and the one I like the best. Very discreet. First plumbing completed without any leaks. I put Teflon plumbing tape around every part when assembling. Tape not included with the unit so I suggest make sure you have some on hand. All parts were metal and it was easy to install. Just give yourself time to do a thorough clean-up of the area before installing your unit. After having used a bidet for years now, I don't want to live without one in my bathroom. Forget the warm / hot water versions, unless you opt for the electric, you'll have to run water till the water comes in warm and for many households that takes lots of running and a sink within arm shot of your toilet. The toilet seat and lid is as adequate as any solid plastic, not hollow seat like my previous, which broke after three years. You can sit on the lid as advertised. Very white in color. You won't be disappointed with your purchase in my opinion.

Spray too narrow and forceful, but works great. Tell your guests that is not the toilet flush lever.
I went with this bidet because it looked sturdy and unlikely to leak with the brass internals and sheathed heavy hose. Living in a highrise, leaks could destroy millions of dollars of apartments below so it's worth a bit of extra money for the insurance. The only concern I have with this is that the bidet knob will engage if anyone knocks it the wrong way. A pet or kid could turn this on accidentally rubbing up against the lever, and flood the bathroom. Luckily I have no pets or kids. However I did have a guest confuse the control lever for the toilet flush lever, and because this is so powerful there was water all over the bathroom including soaking the ceiling before he got it turned off.Overall it works and looks pretty darn good for the price. The fit and finish is a step above your typical low cost Chinese product, and the soft close works perfectly. I like that the feet of the seat are grey so they hide marks better than white. The seat isn't quite as comfortable as the original solid seat; this Alpha ONE seat is more curvy than it needs to be, and not as thick or solid. But once you are used to it, no biggie. Also because the mechanism takes up some space, the opening is less deep by a few inches versus the original seat, making this (and all bidet seat devices) more like a non-elongated seat in terms of opening size. Just something to be aware of if this is your first bidet seat. The color is not quite white; it's more of a lavender color, just a bit more purple than it looks on my screen. It doesn't quite match white toilets; if you are obsessive you might be annoyed at the slight color mismatch. The biggest complaint is that the sprayer doesn't spread the spray enough; All of the little jets are aimed parallel, which leads to a very small area where it hits you. The minimum lever setting, that just barely gets the sprayer to engage, is really the max I would want. Turning the dial all the way, you can get a pretty serious enema effect, which I don't like. I only use the rear sprayer; as a male I have no use for the front sprayer, and even if I had lady parts I might be afraid of directing that much water down there.Overall it does its job well!
