This is a great starter kit for needle felters. Not the greatest quality needles, but good enough to get you started. Very good felt pad.

I bought my first needle felting kit not realizing I needed a felting kit pad. This kit came with everything I needed to complete my kit and help me enter a new hobby.

This is an excellent kit for beginner needle felters. I especially appreciate the needle handle. It's a nice combination of accessories.

I was recently introduced to the idea of using cookie cutters, as forms for felting… Felting is a new hobby for me. This kid is the perfect kit to begin with… It’s compact so I can travel with it and work on things in the car. It provides everything I need to make a beautiful ornament to give to my family and friends for special occasions. !

I bought four of these sets for my kids to use for some homeschool needle felting. I like the wool mats - they were the best price I found for wool ones, as opposed to foam, and they seem sturdy.The needle-holder is pretty much useless. As soon as you start to use it, the needle pushes right back into the handle. We couldn't get them to work, and just used the needles without the holder, which works too.I liked the idea of the bag to carry and contain everything, but of the four sets, the zipper pull broke on two and the zipper itself on one, all in the first day. They are poor quality and *just barely* hold everything if you arrange it properly. No extra room at all.The needles do break easily, but I don't know if that's par for the course. There are lots of extras, which I appreciate.

I'm happy with what this kit contains. I wish it had some instructions about the various parts, but the description didn't say it had such.
