Used for cross stitch on a variety of fabrics , aida, linen and hessian (jute) and it grips very well , easy to tighten up until it grips by hand , without need of a screwdriver, doesn’t slip so no need to bind ( wooden holders I wrap bias binding round one half to stop slipping ) no need with these hoops , nice selection of sizes too

Arrived on time, well packaged. Good range of sizes. Easy to use and helpful when doing embroidery and cross-stitch.

Do the job they were made for, little bit stiff and tricky to tighten, but then I’ve never found an easy version yet!

Wrong sizes
The hoops pretty good but they are definitely not the sizes stated. The largest hoop is 10.5 inches, not 11.42, and none of the others match us to the sizes in the description either.They do hold my fabric tight and they are very light but I wanted something closer to 12 inches for the largest hoop and that's not what I got.
