Very handy little product as most new TV's are fazing out component inputs. Picture quality is very nice but I didn't use component before I used it. Bought a WII and had it delivered for under £25 so I was happy to pay for this at a great and reasonable price and the build quality is good too. So if you want a cheap bit of fun grab you self a WII and some games, Games start at about £0.01 and upwards but I really didn't want to go back to the stone age and play in composite (standard definition) picture quality so I bought this and I am very happy with it! Happy gaming guys :D .

I bought this product in order to record game play at a higher resolution than component cables and though, this product up-scales the video well but i have found that it can overheat often. This is for for me due to only using it for short periods of time. My experience is that the frames can often lag slightly, especially wen recording, this can be seen here: and for a full video test using the product, you can watch this video: I now don't use the wii2dmi since i have bought an avermedia lgp which up-scales footage for the wii to 720p, even whilst using component without needing this product.

Having just purchased a new TV (no scart connections) I had to find something to connect the Wii to the TV. Hence, this. Arrived on time simple to set up and connect. In fact no setting up required. Only complaint the "pointer" on the Wii stutters otherwise great and wife pleased that she can still use the Wii

Cant believe this item arrived today through Prime. I bought this for work in our youth centre as we have an overhead projector and did not want leads being over head. Our girls often play just dance so this was the solution as we have an HDMI wall socket. I plugged in the HDMI lead into the port then connecter and hooked it up to the Wii and it worked instantly. Absolutely fantastic prodcut would highly reccomend

Brilliant piece of kit. Don't know why we didn't get this earlier. All the fuss and bother of having to 'pull this out' and 'put that back in' to keep the grandkids happy when they 'invaded'. The Wii's never been the same since !

Does a perfect job and came in no fuss/ extra packaging.

working fine so far, picture quality seems good as well but unable to turn up my wii to 1080p so dunno how that works. The device does get hot so not sure if that will be an issue later on.
