Update: I returned the first one since it would turn off by itself at random times. The second one was great for a couple months, then suddenly won’t turn on. If you get lucky and get it to turn on, then it won’t turn off. It seems that there is a loose connection which causes it to work inconsistently. I never dropped the first or second one, so for both to last only one or two months is a total fail.***I’ve been looking for a strong blue light which I can use while walking at night. The police cars in my state have blue lights so people always slow down at the sight of one. I’ve found that other lights marketed for walking or running aren’t bright enough to attract attention. Although this flashlight is small (which is GREAT), it packs a powerful punch for its size. I wouldn’t say it’s that great to illuminate an area, but the blue light is definitely strong enough to be seen at a distance by cars. I’d buy another one.

I bought this as a handy flashlight to keep by my door for when I let my dogs out at night. I have to go out with them because I live in a rural area and we have predators in the woods at night. One of my dogs is a small shih-tzu and is an easy target. I am amazed how bright the beam is and how it illuminates my yard, but even better, it makes eyes glow in the dark, so I can see if any coyotes are in the woods even though I can't see them in the dark. This flashlight has been a Godsend.

Would have rated this thing a zero but couldn’t!! I shot a deer the other day and there was blood all over the ground so I decided to take my light out to see how good the blood shows up. Well guess what? It doesn’t show up hardly at all it just looks dark. My regular flashlight worked better than this sorry ass thing!!

Purchased this blue and a red led flashlight from the same seller. The blue was much brighter, which I compensated for by putting a 14500 battery in the red to match brightness. The red burned out after about 5 hours usage over an eight month period, so don't try that battery in this blue flashlight. The seller never responded to two request about if there was a warranty.

Very bright when using the 14500 battery. And very good with a standard AA battery. It offers a different type of ease to the eyes than red or green. This is NOT a UV light. And I didn’t expect it to be. Various outdoor activities require different types of light. And for the money this is perfect.

Doesn’t show any I mean any blood as advertised... lost a deer because of it real disappointed

Bought this for my husband who is a hunter. Not sure exactly what he will use it for but he said it will definitely come in handy.
