Lovely looking item, however it only lasted me 4 weeks until it frayed and split. The split happened a few inches from the clasp where you secure the necklace around your neck. Had to get a refund, shame as it looks lovely. Just isn't durable at all! My advice is avoid this item. Looking at other peoples comments they too have had similar issues so this isn't a one off that only I have experienced.If you appreciated my review then please click on the “helpful” button. out of the box it looks great but after using it for a few weeks, it just disintegrates at any tension on the necklace. I tried to just tie it to fix it but it just disintegrated even more when i tried. Would highly recommend to look elsewhere

The trouble with this leather necklace is you cannot get any pendant on it because the end bits are big so can't wear it with any pendant so was disappointed so that why I have given it 4stars

As expected - been using for a number of years for my Medic ID
As expected - been using for a number of years for my Medic ID - the leather will rot - but I don't have the option of removing so expect to replace every 4-6 months - still good quality & price

Clasp is beautiful, Not good quality leather
My wife loved this cord to hold her crystal pendant but after about 4-5 months of wear the leather thong just disintegrated, you could literally just gently pull the cord to pieces. Clasp is beautiful and fully functioned until the end.

Good quality product however the size of the leather maybe 3mm the thickness of the clasp is much thicker. This does not deflect away from the quality and build of the product which is very satisfactory for the cost. The customer service dept is superb at resovling any issues.

Doitory Women Men 3mm Leather Cord Chain Necklace Black Braided Rope
I purchased this product on 4th November 2018 and it frayed so you refunded my money, I then ordered another one on 15 January 2019 and the same thing has happened. It is also fraying in another place but hasn't broken yet. It is only carrying a dog tag so is not heavy. I really like the necklace but can't keep ordering them if they are going to keep breaking.
