There was some debate back and forth about if this was auto shutoff or not, but mine seems to stay on as long as it's turned on. I'm giving it 4 stars because sometimes it seems to get really hot when on high and other times it seems like it's warm. It's working great for me and i'd buy it again, if for no other reason than it doesn't have an auto shutoff.

It's alittle slow to heat up but works very well. I wanted it for my hips and possibly to help my knees, but no matter, the extra length is great. The cover is "fuzzy" although I cover it with a towel to protect myself and to keep the unit clean as I sleep on it. The box said it's design was from Los Angeles. Nice to know that something was contributed by the USA! Thumb's up.

So far I think I will like this heating pad. The size is larger that my old one (over 30 years). I like the feel of the cover, very soft. At this time I really haven't had the opportunity to use, I did test it out to make sure it worked. Only had on each setting for maybe 5 minutes. But it did heat up, and was not too hot at the highest setting.

I liked this product, it is good for those,who love warmth in certain places. I like, for example, putting heat on my back if I have pain. In general, I do not regret that ordered this product.Especially, soon is winter and it will certainly help me to in cold winter days.

Good product over all . .I wish it had an auto shutoff.I think this is a safety issueI really did not know you could purchase a heating pad without it a safety issue.Now I know... but this is a good quality product

I have 2 other XL heating pads of another brand and wasn't sure how this one would turn out due to some of the reviews, but I am really happy with it. I am especially impressed with the zipper closure cover, which is such an improvement over the usual loose wraparound covers that don't stay put, plus it is very soft and velvety feeling. The control switch is also somewhat larger easy to use.

This couple day is so cold, I was online checking for a heating pad for my bed.....I find this one here, it's not too big nor small it just right for my bed, there is three level on the heating pad you can chose, for me I will turn it on before bed time for 15 mins on high and turn it off after you get in bed....this way your bed will stay warm and comfortable all night long.....highly recommended.

Heats up quickly, large pad and it doesn't have auto shut off which is a plus for me.
