I don't know why these weren't invented sooner. Do you know how many times I've accidently burned my arm getting a dish out of the oven? These extend up your arm, and are suprisingly comfortable. They also are not so big that you can't maneuver in them, however, I do wear a size large glove for women, so maybe if you are smaller, these would be too big. All I know is they work great for me. No heat penetration either. I've bought the cheapy ones and when I took out a lasagna one time I had to hurry to get it to my hot pad. Very happy with these - I got the beige ones - they look very nice.

Great gloves for the cook who's always burning herself!! I love cooking, baking and anything else in the kitchen. I am very hard on my oven mitts and have went through so many over the years I've lost track. Usually I end up with a small tear in the glove and don't realize it until I pull something out of the oven and get burned. I've also had issues with short oven mitts that don't go far enough up my arm and have burnt my upper wrist pulling larger things from the oven.About 2 months ago I found these, read the reviews and thought the price seemed great so I got myself a pair. Wow! These are amazing! But, I have to admit I was skeptical at first. They are so lightweight I wasn't sure if these would hold up to my kitchen abuse.I waited to write a review until I knew for sure how well they would hold up.They are about 6 ounces each, so very lightweight. They have a nice quilted interior that feels really nice to slip your hand into, instead of the feeling of silicone on your skin. I really appreciate that. They bend and flex easily which makes grabbing things from pots and pans to casserole pans really easy. But even with the light and thin material, you don't get burned! That's where I was skeptical. I was so worried something this thin wouldnt protect me, but boy was I wrong! These work great!The length is perfect too and keeps my wrist and arm safe as I grab things from the oven. They also are great for my heavy cast iron pans. Cast iron can be really heavy and take 2 hands sometimes. These are great for that.My husband has been known to steal things from my kitchen and sneak these out to his grill too. He said they work really for grilling too. So, they definitely fit larger hands that are doing a lot of grilling at one time. I think I know what I'm getting him for his Birthday!All the pictures I took are today, after 2 months of use. They still look like brand new! I really like these gloves and I'm so happy to keep from getting burned anymore. I would highly recommend these and will be ordering another set for our camper and my husband!EDITED TO ADD ADDITIONAL REVIEW AFTER THREE AND HALF YEARS!I wanted to review these after using them for almost daily use after more than 3 years.They are still my favorite oven mitt! The only things that have changed are that the black material around the cuff is now faded and starting to get a little thinner than when it was new, and the liner has also gotten a little thinner after being washed regularly over the past 3 years. It might time for a new set soon. Especially when working with heavy pans from my oven so that I can keep my hand protected from very high heats in the oven, but these are perfect for my everyday cooking with cast iron pans on the stove top. I still have no issues at all!At 20 bucks, and almost 4 years of daily use, these are a great find! I love them and will be getting another set soon!

Often oven mitts are hard to manipulate because they’re so bulky. These allow a great amount of give and take so you can pick up the dishes you need to without worrying if you’re going to drop something hot. They are incredibly durable and easy to wipe clean. They keep my hands safe and I have no complaints.

These gloves are awesome, but they are quite large. People with small hands should probably avoid them, but for me they're great. I wear a XXL size standard type glove and my hand fits nicely into these. I bake Detroit style pizzas at 475 degrees and have no problem pulling the Lloyds steel pans out of the oven. I feel no heat transfer what so ever. I also bake bread in a Lodge 6 quart ceramic coated cast iron dutch oven at usually around 450 degrees. Again, I feel no heat transfer from the handles of the dutch oven and the silicon coating helps a lot in terms of grip, and these types of dutch ovens are heavy! Around 8 lbs empty. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase and I'll revise my review if the passage of time proves otherwise.

Bigger than I thought… quality is nice for what you pay for. I felt some heat come thru the fingers but nothing dangerous or painful. Worried me at first, but so far, not having issues! Love them. Sleek looking too 👍

Used them this weekend grilling skewered shrimp. Like how far up the arm they come, not problem with heat from the grill. When grabbing the end of the skewer, not so great, hot pots, pans, skillets, and cookie sheets they worked very good.

I wanted 2 matching oven mitts, not sure why everyone is so cheap now and only sells one oven mitt with a potholder which is a great way to get burned when taking casseroles out of a hot oven! These mitts fit well and they are soft and pliable enough so you can easily get a good grip on anything and they go half-way op your forearm so no problem if something splatters. I feel really safe pulling things out of the oven, can't feel any heat at all. They rinse right off in the sink if you get food on them. I chose the black ones and they will last a lifetime, nice quality. I am a female with medium-smallish hands, but these surprisingly would work for a male as well - the pliability is the key, and they have a soft cotton interior.

After years of using homemade knitted potholders that someone gave me as a gift at least 30 years ago, they started thinning and my hands were getting burned. After seeing these silicone oven mitts, I thought they'd do the trick to save my hands. They do a great job and food wipes off them very easily. The only downside for me is the size. I have small hands and they are huge. I frequently get the top of the mitts into the food I am taking out of the oven. That's how I know they wipe up easily. It usually isn't too much of an issue except when taking a cookie sheet filled with soft cookies out of the oven. I do smoosh a few. But I would recommend them. At least I know I will no longer get burned.

Works perfectly and protects my hands and wrists! I bought black which was the most affordable but wish the other colours were less expensive. Good value and easy to rinse under the sink after a food spill.

Love these mitts! The colour is perfect. My gift this year for family and friends. Everyone loves them as gifts. Will not buy any other mitt. Have purchased 4 times already. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for the best oven mitt!

Arrived very quickly, and exactly as ordered. These mitts worked great, fit Hands well, although not recommended for very large hands. You would need to see if they come in a larger size. No heat felt through them at all. Appear to be a product that will last a long time. Thank you!
