I cannot hear very well in one ear, so headsets and earbuds did not work very well. Only half of the stereo sound.These earbuds give me the whole stereo sound in one ear.Great for me.

This works perfectly for what I need. Please remember these are not high priced ear buds and you get what you pay for. I edit digital photos and after working them up in photo shop I have to write detailed captions. On professional cameras photographers and attach a voice tag to the photo. When I edit the photo I can play the voice tag that has information from the photo. I don't want dual earbuds and this is exactly what I wanted for what I need. Great value for the price.

Earbuds mute outside sounds, both ears and it can actually be dangerous. Or just really, really annoy a person who wants to get your attention. But if you're only using one from a set the wires tangle and tear. Enter the single bud headphone: buy one as well as your regular set.It took forever to find a single earbud, now I'm buying several at once because I keep giving them away. People see me on an airplane or train, waiting in an office, when I'm working in an office, jogging . . . wherever it is almost all realize that they're perfect for things they do. Now and then someone just wants to try them to see if it is. Safety reasons alone means all of them should just have one instead of having to hunt it down. Since I'm not going to run into you you'll have to buy it for yourself.I got my first one because I need to listen to something while falling asleep which kept my partner awake. A standard pair - lying on an earbud is uncomfortable and using only one when lying down is far worse than standing up, once in a while came close to damaging my phone. Now one by the bedside, one stays in my travel kit, one in a bag I carry. .There is one that also has a microphone but if I might have to have a conversation I use my bluetooth. If all I'm doing is listening this is the tool for the job.

If listening to voice- news or a ballgame, many words are unintelligible.

Use it on stage for click track phone app while drumming. They work great

I have need to keep one ear open while on my computer so as to hear family members when they need me. I normally have worn one bud of a traditional 2 bud set for this purpose. That worked OK but the extra bud was always getting tangled. I figured these were worth a shot. I like that they don't tangle like the others but I'm otherwise not impressed. I know these are cheap but I expected that the blended stereo channels into one earpiece would sound better than the cheap /traditional 2 bud set ( of which I only wore one bud) they replaced. The wire is also super thin . About 1/2 as much as the 2 bud set they replaced. I'll keep them but don't expect them to last.

Kinda a lame earbud. Should cost about 3$ at most

We bought about 40 pairs for our employees and some headphones did not last even a week. We heard a lot of complaints about how the connection on the plug and the connection on the earbud would malfunction and they would have to move or bend that are so that they could still use them (we've had to replace about about 5-10 of them because they just stopped working all together). The sound is also not the greatest. We did not payed much for this earbuds but if you are looking for something cheap like how we were I think you are better off buying them from the dollar store as they will most likely sound about the same but last longer. On the plus side, the cable itself is pretty long and our employees really liked that.
