ELM327 USB Modified for Ford Mazda from 1996- CAN-BUS OBD2 OBDII Diagnostic Interface Cable

I used this on my 2008 Ford Mondeo Mk4 to enable some modules via ElmConfig. It worked as expected, so I'm happy. I have also used it with ForScan and it worked well with that too, showing a million different diagnostic readings.

This item was listed as 'Prime' when I purchased it, meaning that I should have received it the next working day... Wrong!!! Received just short of a week after placing the order. This meant that I had missed the date by which I needed it, so borrowed an adapter from a friend. When I received the adapter I thought I would give it a try, even though I no longer needed it for a specific job.I have just wasted 1hr of my life that I will never get back. When it is plugged into the OBD port and the other end into the computer, Windows™ detects the device and loads drivers it gets from Windows™ Update. All well and good you may say, but no. The Windows™ drivers are not compatible with the device but searching the internet finds the correct drivers to use. The only problem being; once Windows™ has installed the wrong drivers, even if you delete them from device manager, you cannot get Windows™ to install the correct drivers. It might work well and be a quality adapter, but not being able to install the correct drivers means I cannot tell.There are no instructions or drivers supplied with the device, and for £18 I would have expected more.Overall I would not recommend this device.

Arrived early quick and easy to connect. Easy instilation on my laptop I chose to download Forscan but several links to downloable software included in the lead. Works perfectly with my 2012 Ford Mondeo.

Good product for money helped me setup new towbar.

Works perfectly with Forscan on my S-Max, the modified switch enables extra features which is handy.

Works well and lets me tweak my car's OBD.

This adapter works ONLY at baud rate of 38.4kbps and can't be changed. Therefore it won't work at 500k baud like it is advertised. Don't buy if you need it to work at a higher baud rate.

Worked as expected, I use it to monitor the life of the DPF

Funciona correctamente en mi Kuga MK1. Se puede usar con Forscan.No trae drivers, solo un papel con un enlace, pero en Windows 10 lo reconoce sin drivers.El cable es largo y da para colocar el pc en el asiento del copiloto

J'ai contacté le vendeur pour m'assurer que le produit fonctionnerai pour ma ford, la réponse était qu'avec le logiciel Forscan, cela devait fonctionné, et bien oui, cela fonctionne, j'ai accès aux code d'erreurs de ma voiture, à différent test moteur, c'est vraiment parfait, il y a plein d'autre logiciel gratuit où payant qui permettent d'avoir accés à différentes information où réglage.J'avais déjà commandé un boitier non spécifique Ford et l'avais bidoullé avec un tuto sur internet pour avoir accès à l'oBD Ford mais sans succès.Celui ci fonctionne à merveille, je m'évite la valise chez Ford, je sais qu'il y a un problème de vanne EGR et un défaut d'allumage dans le cylindre 1, je suis vraiment content, donc pour ma ford, c'est nickel, merci de m'avoir lu.Florent

Nul aucun SAV , message du vendeur : contactez le fabriquant !!le matériel ne fonctionne pas et n'a jamais fonctionnéles drivers fournis ne fonctionne pas. essai sur plusieurs PC fixe ou portable, windows 10 et 7...rien ne marche !!!
