This thing is so beautiful. It makes your child look like a beautiful, silky butterfly. It has a part that goes gently around their necks, but it hooks together with gentle Velcro so it is not a choking hazard. Then there is a part for each of the child's wrists. The wings hang daintily down to the child's ankles. My child spins round and round and round and pretends to fly when she wears this.One word of caution though, my child was able to rip her Wing right off when she stomped on the wing and continued running. The wing came off of the neck piece, but it was very really easily soon right back into place. You can't even tell. And it was completely her fault. Not a product issue whatsoever. Just be careful. They are dainty butterfly wings, after all.

My girls(ages 2 and 6) love flapping around the house in these and often outside when it's windy because then they "really" fly! Colors are bright but only printed on outside of the wings. The wings are plenty long and drag the ground on both my 2 and 6 year old. The wings attach by a fabric band around the neck with a Velcro closure. Both girls need assistance to get them on but can get them off without issue.

The wings are beautiful! The colors are bright and the material is nice. But, they stay on by way of a velcro chocked that is very uncomfortable. Plus, the wings are very large and therefor hard for little kids to wear.

I'm 5'1" and these wings were the perfect height! The quality of the wings is great and they are thick. My only complaints are t1. that the fabric attaching the elastic to the neck piece is really tacky (hard to fix/remove for those of us who are perfectionists),2. that the color is only on the outside of the wings,and3. the finger elastic is flimsy (would be better with similar elastic to the neck piece for a wrist band on either side).

As far as the thickness and shearness go, I feel that it's a little non-applicable as these wings are made of a very light silky material(not thin, but not too thick and definitely not shear). With that being said, they are made very very well in the colors are vibrant and beautiful. I cannot wait for my daughter to open this on Christmas, because she will be obsessed! They are so pretty and the mask and little headband with the butterfly antennae is so adorable. Any little girl who loves to dress up or loves butterflies would love this!

My 6yo daughter loved this more than I would have expected, it is beautiful and so simple, such a good price. The face mask is a joke and we threw in the garbage, but the antennae are sturdy and comfy. Despite being stepped on several times (it would drag a couple inches on the ground when her arms are down), no ripping or fraying of the fabric.

Very affordable for what you get. Was a very comfortable costume for my daughter this Halloween. It attaches at the wrist and is very soft and comfortable when worn with a leotard. She chose the butterfly pattern and it was very adorable.

Daughter picked a butterfly and this was perfect. She wanted long wings. And she feels like she can really "fly" when she puts on the wings. Fabric is light. The part that goes around her neck she says is a little itchy but doesnt bug her. Shes 4'2 and 67lbs.
