Here is my honest and unbiased review of the ANCEL AD310 Classic Enhanced Universal OBD II Engine Fault Code Diagnostic Scanner. I took delivery of the scanner today just two days after ordering it! I used it to diagnose an engine fault which had suddenly appeared on my Fiat Bravo. When I checked the Diagnostic plug, it looked like the ANCEL would not fit, but with a little bit of fiddling, the Ancel plug fitted my Picasso's diagnostic plug perfectly! The machine is powered by the car itself (even without the ignition being turned on). The machine prompts you to turn the ignition on (but not start the engine). It then prompts you to do a diagnostic. Within seconds the machine's easily read and well lit screen shows the fault code, and the nature of the fault. You can then "erase" the fault (in my case an annoying "Engine Fault Light"). A comprehensive and quite clearly written instruction book is included with the machine, and the test lead is approx. 1 metre long. I know little about computers and modern electronic instruments, and was sceptical if it would work, and erase and reset the fault codes, but I must admit I was very, very pleasantly surprised and pleased with the results - and with how easy it is to use the scanner. All in all I can thoroughly recommend this scanner for the DIY car mechanic.

Simplistic and affordable. Feels light and cheap, but hey all I'm interested in is the technology and this does the job. Why pay forca fancy cover that does the same thing. Saved me £20 + minimum. Mate checked out diagnostic problem last week and turned light off. Came back on. Used this wee tool same diagnostic reading. Sorted problem and turned off EML. Would I recommend...yes. Use it once and is paid for itself!!!

This is a great diagnostic machine. It saves you the time and money from going to the garage to check the problem with your car. Ifs very easy to use and to connect to car. Would definetley recommend

Easy to use product that just plugs into the standard OBD port on your car.Can view live data and also check if your car has any error codes and then delete them.Would really recommend for anyone who needs to view error codes and check what's wrong.

This item is nice and compact I bought it for my daughter she has had a fault on her car for a couple of weeks so I thought I would try this she found the problem by using it and she has booked it in at the garage she actually told them what the matter was
