This is an aftermarket upgrade stereo for Mercedes W204 looks like a great upgrade to the factory system... not the case.for the price and the level of difficulty to install you must really love your car.the system claims to intergrate into the car ... it does not.multiple issues though its claimed to be throughly testedThe item comes with no instructions printedonce installed the system has no memory to remember the correct time and date.system doesnt remember where the volume was set before you turn the car offthe main display always says " my dearest one" a factory loaded chinese song ... it never goes away even if you delete the music.system uses a very poor 3G wifi , system is set to somewhere in asia ... so the loaded GPS navigation is great if youre in singapore... no value if youre in the united statessystem is loaded with lots of apps ... all worthless.Once you stumble and finally navigate the install there are instructions in the unit itself (30 page PDF) that explains how it worksAgain ... the print is so small it’s impossible to read on the screen.The port for external USB extension doesn’t match the supplied wireIt’s these types of issues that will have you spending hours with this system.Definitely not worth the 600$ price tag.I’m not even going to attempt to explain how to install all the new wires and computer that the stereo comes with. Because you have to take your glove box out to find the space to mount it and run wires.All in all great invention. But I wish it was invented by someone who understands English and not just Chinese cause everything is sketchysave your money for a better quality product.if you do purchase, good luck i spent two weeks trying to figure this out that i felt satisfied. but having to spend 15 min every time i get in the car to set the stereo up is annoying.
