Upgrade your StirMATE with an onboard digital thermometer! This thermometer elegently integrates into your StirMATE so you can monitor the temperature of what you cook. Perfect for candies, soups, sauces, coffee roasting, and much much more! The kit comes with a digital thermometer, an adapter unit, and adhesive, and takes just 1 minute to upgrade. The probe is held tight to allow for height adjustment of the thermometer to ensure you are measuring the liquid temperature and not the pot temperature. Note: StirMATE Smart Pot Stirrer not included. Note: Please adjust the thermometer to sit high enough to avoid excessive steam from hitting the digital thermometer body. The Thermometer will reach a maximum depth of 5.5" into the pot.

Outstanding customer service and a useful addition to your StirMATE!
The fact that the StirMATE 2nd generation had the possibility of adding the thermometer is what pushed me over the edge to buy the StirMATE, and I bought them at the same time. My current primary use for the pair is yogurt, and I hurt my primary hand recently. This pair’s purpose in my life helps me solve a problem.If you develop a difficulty with anything about this pair, the inventor seems like a wonderful guy and very willing to stand by his product. I had the opportunity to call him because I was trying to figure out if the problem I was having was user error or not. It was! Granted, my adapter cracked a little, upon actual use the following day, but after the fact, I figured out I hadn’t used the adhesive in all the places I was supposed to (visual error, I’m not good with picture details) so another user error. The adapter hadn’t snapped completely, and had probably been weakened by my first error. Haha, he knows what I did! A friend helped me add extra adhesive, and I am pretty confident it will be OK. If not, I know he will help me make it right!The inventor was very polite and understanding, and we did some troubleshooting. I would buy other stuff from him in a heartbeat!

Stem too short. Adapter broke.
The stem on this thermometer is way too short. The adapter piece that you attach to the Stirmate broke after two uses. Don’t bother.
