Isle of Dogs [Blu-ray]

So good! Really enjoyed this, funny, emotional 5 stars

Great film by a great film maker. Was sceptical at first that it was going to be good (my children wanted to wathc it) but really engaged and charmed by this excellent film.

It's a silly kids film about a boy rescuing his dog but it's made by West Anderson so it makes you think and feel as well.

I just love it, the story, the way it’s done, the actors including Yoko Ono, Bill Murray, Geoff Goldblum, Ed Norton. Well worth watching. *****

Great! I love Wes Anderson movies!

I’ve often heard people criticizing the lack of depth and story compared to Wes Anderson’s earlier work, but I gotta say that the last film to touch my heart like this one that didn’t come from the east was “Les triplettes de belle ville”. Even though IOD takes place in a fictional Japanese city and incorporates loads of lovingly crafted references to Japanese culture, you can tell it’s a western piece of work and that is not a bad thing. The characters (voiced by the Creme de la Creme of Hollywood’s a list, even down the tiniest of roles likeTilda Swinton as Oracle and Anjelica Houston as a mute poodle) are all-together lovable and the animation style brings back fond memories of Augsburger Puppenkiste (I’m german, look it up, you won’t be disappointed!). All in all, if you love dogs, Japan or great animation you’ll have a wonderful time. If you love all three of them you’ll likely wanna watch Isle Of Dogs again right after your initial viewing. It is that good.

That film created by Wes Anderson is the same guy that created Roald Dahl's Fantastic Mr Fox, and the animation of stopmotion is inspirational 👏 🙌.

This movie is from another world. All the puppets and scenery are expertly crafted to be as real as possible. The stop motion is amazing with small details moving with the wind or as the characters move around to give the idea of life.I really enjoyed the story because I've lost a few very good dogs in my life and would've done anything to get them back. Voice acting is amazing, and all the actors seems to be themselves in dog form and not actors trying to be people in costume. Get this movie for your collection.

la película es muy buena, no tengo queja en cuanto a contenido, llego como siempre a tiempo y en buena condición, sin embargo la imagen que se muestra en Amazon pareciera que es una caja de metal o cartón lo cual no es así, es una caja normal de bluray de plástico, si no les importa la presentación de la caja esta ok.ojala amazon mexico vendiera el poster de la pelicula.
