Straigt up works, can't ask much more than that. It's a fast drive, faster even than the tried and true SN770 that it seemingly replaces, and especially considering it's DRAM-less. Very fast boots and loading times for games, fast file transfers for up to a third of its capacity (very big SLC cache).Western Digital seems to have split its SSD division as SanDIsk, and from now on you'll have to refer to that company for support. I'm thoroughly impressed! My computer recognized it immediately. Performance-wise, this SSD is a game-changer. Boot-up times are incredibly fast, and applications load almost instantaneously. Transferring large files is a breeze, and even demanding games run smoothly with virtually no loading screens. The 1TB capacity offers plenty of space for my operating system, numerous games, and all my important files.

Being a former WDC employee nearly 25 years ago, I still purchase WD products due to their product quality. And tech support is the best (1-800-ASK-4-WDC worldwide). The NVME M.2 is one of the fastest, most affordable memory module you can purchase. My only regret was not selecting a 4Tb. Maybe next year.

Its Western Digital as usual fantastic quality. Installation was more or less a breeze. Umm one small issue. Most of us Still use mounting screws can you include at least two per package. I dont know what those rubber things were but I dont use those. So like yeah stop that. Other than that. The Drive is fantastic.

So I ordered this SSD about two weeks ago, previously I had an offbrand 120GB SSD in my gaming rig as my C drive and despite installing everything onto the other drives, certain programs would always add things to the C drive like anticheat programs and certain game launchers. Since installing the WD Black drive in my computer everything has gotten much snappier, programs launch faster, my computer turns on faster, I never run out of storage space and have to clear temporary files just to use my PC. I can install updates again for my graphics drivers. As for moving my Windows installation, I was able to find free software and it was all done in less than 20 minutes! Overall very happy with this NVME!

fast drive just couldn't justify the price of the upgrade at this time. only bought because my new motherboard didn't support m.2 sata drives only nvme drives. if your on the AM5 platform something to keep of note. thats all. THANKS FOR YOUR ATTENTION ON THIS MATTER.
