Adjustments can be a bit touchy but over all a great product! First strike of key and my sons yfm80 started right up no problem would buy again.

At $60.00, I was tempted to purchase this carburetor as a fun project for my son and I to do together. I am an ASE certified master mechanic with over 20 years of experience. I knew by how my sons ATV was acting that we likely had a sunk float. Carburetor arrived, looked identical, swapped the units and the new one clearly needed to be adjusted. I could NOT get it to run properly. It seemed the adjustment screws did nothing. I read the yamaha manual, I watched youtube, I called a buddy and I struggled for a couple of hours. This is what I do for a living, however, maybe it WAS me and I was doing something wrong. So, I took our atv to the factory trained techs at the Yamaha shop. They could not get it to run, and instead repaired the old carburetor to the tune of $115.00. I believe the unit was sucking air from the adjustment screw threads, they seemed a wee bit loose. Lesson learned. I understand 60 bucks is a great price, but it's a terrible price for a paperweight. I also understand that Amazon will take it back, but the one star is for the company selling a product that they clearly never bench tested.

I had to replace the carb on my son's 4 wheeler . when my local shop quoted $400.00 to order 1 I almost had a seizure sitting there . after about 30 eye twitches and who knows how many profanities . my parts guy suggested checking Amazon .The installation was easy . but the adjustment was a bit tricky ( thank you YouTube ) tip: I found that it ran great if I plugged the vacuum line . we've gone hundreds of miles since then . it starts and runs great every time .

Just garbage.Inconsistent fuel distribution.Idles up and down without even touching anything.Adjusting doesn’t help or work.

This product was not a quality product it was worse than what I already had
