I've come to the point where I need to support my junk while I'm riding my bicycle. Wearing a dance belt is the perfect solution for my issue. I tried most of the major brands (capezio, bloch, body wrappers) and the strap up the middle is so uncomfortable (I don't wear thongs for this reason). It feels like some is flossing my backside with a piece of rough rope. This dance belt is very supportive without the thin uncomfortable middle strap. The belt is made from a very soft fabric and is not very noticeable under a pair of tight cycling shorts. The only downside to the belt is that the pouch is not padded - I do wish it would have the very nice padded pouch from the bloch belt. Guys if you're experiencing junk discomfort while cycling (or other athletic endeavors) give this a try.

Their size chart was accurate and the comfort level of this belt met my expectations. Can go 6-8 hours without discomfort. Effective at smoothing over my personal details when in tights. Some definition is still apparent but this belt brings the level of exposure down from biology-class-display-of-the-male-reproductive-organs to something reminiscent of men's swimsuit briefs. I hear tale that you can double up on dance belts if you want to level up the disappearance of your particulars. I would look for a lighter dance belt than this for doubling because I imagine two of these waist bands would be rather thick.After wearing and hand-washing this belt three times the stitching came undone and the elastic threading started to come of the gusset. HDW Dance were kind enough to send a replacement belt. Thank you!Besides the lower price point I can't make a comparison to better known brands as I have not tried any comparable product. Since this belt gets the job done for me I wouldn't want to spend any more than this. I bought this to allow me to wear tights to the gym and yoga classes while minimizing adverse effects on people's sense of propriety. For aspiring/professional dancers I can't speak to the effectiveness of this belt in the most extreme situations like split leaps and such. But I can say that I wish I had known about dance belts in my gymnastics career as it would have really kept things in place and out of the way.

We bought this for my son for a show he was performing in. Unfortunately, the thong part was so wide it was very uncomfortable ... like walking around with a perpetual wedgie! What's up with that? Sorry, but this was returned as being unwearable for 2 minutes never mind for a 2-hour musical! Ouch!

Great for my male dancer! We have had a hard time finding dance belts that fit my son, who is 6 years old and on the slim side. This one fits him great and looks perfect under his tights. His dance teachers are recommending these to all the young ballet dancers at our school!

Little "Spiderboy " looks really good in this thong! Combined with his spidey suit, the whole outfit moved up a few notches! The leg openings of his regular briefs revealed lines across his hips and bottom, so this dance brief eliminated that entirely leaving his form perfectly smooth. Up front, his anatomy is kept very flat, but he is comfortable. Overall, an excellent addtion, and we've ordered more to stock his undie drawer for everyday wear.

The XL is a little too big for me (5'10", 168 lbs, 32 waist pant, runner's build).I wear a LG in Capezio dance belts, which is the tightness I prefer for a 5K run.Still, I would buy this brand from this vendor again.NOTE: after wearing and washing it today, I realized thatthe elastic band does not extend all the way around the waist,as it should. I cannot recommend this product now.

If your going to be dancing or wearing a leotard this will work

Took three purchases to find adequate size. I normally wear Large and the XXL is still too tight.
