JinHao X750 Fountain Pen Matte Frosted Deluxe Black Extra Fine Nib (B)

For the price, I wasn't expecting much but it is the smoothest pen in my small collection. When why 4 stars? The description said extra fine point but the line width is more like fine. If you don't mind a slightly wider line width, this is excellent value for money.

This is a great pen. Feeds cleanly with Noodler's Bulletproof Black and Parker Quink. The pen has a good balance for my hand even with the cap on the barrel that is considerably thickcker than most fountain pens. The finish is very nice and feels like a much, much more expensive pen.The description says extra fine but writes like a medium. That's the problem with these JinHao pens, the nib sizing and descriptions are terribly inconsistent. I keep this one around for average note taking and signatures. If I need to fill out forms then I opt for the Pilot Metropolitan or Sailor rwith a Fine Nib.

This pen writes very nicely and feels good in my hand, however it is advertised as EF. I have bought another jinhao pen that was F, wanting to go finer due to having very small handwriting i figured I'd give this a shot. Unfortunately it is actually more bold than my fine point pen. Not going to be overly useful for me in my writing.Shipping took close to 2 months, only received the pens after contacting the seller and having them ship again.Silver pen has a nice finish to it, but the red and black has an unattractive gold pattern over the red and black pattern i thought i was ordering, almost like gold tape got stuck to it, pulled off, and just left a stain.They do write pretty smooth though. Just don't expect EF as it says in the description.

I was very excited to find a Jinhao with an EF nib on Amazon. I was very disappointed when it arrived.I have another Jinhao with a Fine nib and the nib in this pen is much wider and lays down a much wider line so this definitely isn't an EF nib (unless it stands for extra fat) The line width is very close to that of the Medium nib on my Lamy Safari.A medium nib is far too wide for my handwriting style so this is going to get cleaned out and chucked in a drawer. At such a low price point, it wouldn't be worth it to try to do a return and have to pay for shipping.I will chalk this up to a lesson learned and hope that my review will prevent others from making the same mistake..

I already had this model pen with a medium nib, but I wanted to try it with a fine nib. This JinHao X750 with fine nib and JinHao blue ink makes for a disappointing experience.After several days of use, I noticed that the blue ink is dark when I first start writing, and then it gets lighter as I continue writing. I don't know if the ink or the pen is to blame, but that is why I make a habit of using the same brand of ink and pen together, so the ink is designed for the pen.I didn't have this issue with the medium nib version of this pen, but I'll be taking this one out of service and using other fine nib fountain pens in its place.

I acquired these a year ago and found them easy to use, smooth medium nibs and clean filling. The metal construction might be heavy for some more delicate hands -- but my use is rugged and has not messed up a pen yet.As they come in a sleeve -- I had to rebox them as Xmas gifts -- but was able to get boxes reasonably with cotton filler for about 60 cents each. Gifts for adults on a budget!

Nice pen, but no instructions on how to refill it. The refill cartridges came before the pen but didn't fit. Quite a disappointment. Don't think of will purchase again, will look for a different buyer with better quality. Shipment took a extremely long time as well.

How is this pen under $10? Its fantastic. I use it alongside my TWSBI ECO for variety. Writes super smooth and required no tuning, just fill and go.Do yourself a favor and get one, you won't be disappointed.
