I like it. I compared to the three temp/humidity gauges in room. Seems accurate enough. It takes a min tho. Just be patient :)

Seems like the perfect, inexpensive, handy unit I wanted to measure temps, humidity, DP & WB in my condo. The selling point were 20 or so positive reviews. While it is nice and handy and seemingly well made, unfortunately, it seems to at least 2 to 3 degrees F off measuring temperature when compared against 2 ThermPro temp/humidity monitors and a lab thermometer. So all other measure are in doubt. Maybe with all things made in China I just got a bad one. Further, the little booklet that comes with the meter leaves much to be desired by way of more explanation on transferring stored reading, average time for readings to stabilized and a telephone number for support.I intend to keep it for a short while and test it's reading further to see if it might stabilize since return and buying another is such a hassle. If things improve, I'll update this post.

I want to and need to keep careful track of the humidity in my wine cellar. The Hyelec device seems to be excellent.I'm interested in finding out whether I can store it in the wine cellar at 56°??Over-all I'm very happy with the device. Please answer my question.

I grew frustrated with the non-Arizona weather people not understanding the importance of the dew point to Arizonans. I knew they would not change. So, I decided to solve my problem by getting a device that would allow me to get the dew point. The device is easy to use and I can get real time temperature and dew points every day. The device also confirmed what I suspected, that the morning low temperature is lower than it is in Phoenix. Thanks to lack of dew points from the weather people I now get accurate dew points in the morning before my workout. This is a good tool and the price was decent.

Really nice piece of equipment. Well made, temp sensor is deacon accurate and the humidity reading is also right on. Very pleased with the quality and performance thus far.

I have a few different brands of these Thermo-Hygrometer. This one is a good, accurate, meter. The only dislike I have is the need to switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit every time of use, but that's minor, I'll admit. I like the UEI DTH10 meter a hair better (smaller; just as accurate), but this is good tool and a fair price.

At ~5% RH it was within .1% compared to a calibrated Visala meter. Battery life has been great. Humidity measurement is attained fairly quickly, but temperature takes a while.

Not accurate at all and doesn't have the option to calibrate the unit.I tested it with a calibrated humidistat, also tested it with salt method. Both reading were about 9% below the accurate RH%.Have to return it.

Not sure what is meant by warmth.Humidy changes very verunit a mm the humidity will change. So either very very accurate or no? My humidity gauge on my thermostat matches the one in this gauge just with one less decimal place. Been working well for me so far. Not sure how it would survive a drop to a concrete floor , looks like it could and am sure I will find out some day.

Works well, came quickly. The RH will change very easily if you even cause the surrounding air to move around. A little slow but worked for me.

Easy to use. Doesn't 0 out to main atmosphere first so you have measure base area and then subtract on surface contact. Still easy though and informationmation it provided was clear.

LCD screen i9s defective. Soon will not be able to read.
