Pros:-The lights work perfectly fine-Plenty bright and you can dim to make it easier on your eyes-IR receiver works from short to medium range (across a living room for example)-Having different colors is pleasant when consuming different contentCons:-If you TV remote uses IR it can interfere with the lights and change their colors or put them in a fade mode (this can easily be avoided by pointing the remote lower and directly at the TV in my experience)-The package comes with a set of two light strips that you plug into the two outputs of the converter, however, you can string them on only one output but it is technically not safe (I never worry because I only have them on when I am in the room) and the light dims a little at the end of the second strip.Overall:I bought it as a way to decorate my college apartment, and was pleasantly surprised that my roommate loved them because he hates decorations in general. In my own experience I have not met a single person who hates them, and the only time we turn them off is when we are doing work or are going on a long gaming session and it is straining our eyes. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 are because of the above mentions cons, but they are great especially as a cheap alternative a lot of the other strips out there in terms of quality.

Pros: These lights are fun and cheap.Cons (minor):1- LEDs don't do certain colors well. Yellow is dissapointing.2- Don't expect these to stick well to a typical textured sheetrock wall in your house.3- Wish parts were white instead of black. It comes with what looks like a standard laptop power supply. The power supply plugs into a small remote controller module, and the light strips plug into the controller. If you are running the lights along the top of a wall, the power supply would end up hanging half way up the wall. Ideally the output wire from the power supply should be at least 8ft long for this kind of application.All in all, still good value and fun.

Multicolor lights with numerous lighting schemes like fade, flash, strobe, etc. I am extremely satisfied with this produce and would buy it again.

I had initially purchased an identical ( different packaging but same product) version of these from another seller and decided I wanted more, however they were out of stock and I settled on these.Set them up in our trailer and...There is a definite difference, while they work great and connected to the other set no problem, ( they all work on the same remote ) these truly aren't as bright as the other ones, the color just seems duller.Still worth it and had I not bought the other set, I don't think I would have a complaint, however seeing the obvious difference.. it kinda sucks.

We used this kit to provide RGB under-lighting for my preschooler's bed, per her request. The setup was dead easy, and the result is a very cool effect with a very child-friendly remote. The adhesive seems to work well, and for the price I didn't feel bad about having to cut off one of the rolls pretty short in order to get a good fit for her bed's dimensions. The lights are quite bright on full, but with the brightness turned all the way down they're nice and dim.I have to knock off one star because on a couple of the non-mono-color colours, at the lowest brightness settings, the stips flicker. Turn up the brightness to the next-highest level and the problem goes away. It's not major, but it's enough of a flaw to prevent a 5-star rating.I will probably buy some more of these to do some more cool lighting effects - what a cool kit!

The lights are really cool. We had a bit of a problem getting them starting up but however once they were plugged in correctly they are amazing. We have the ability to play with color, flash, and even dimmable lights. When we moved in our apartment they made it seem like there was lighting above the cabinets, there was not. So these lights solve the wish we had and make it look awesome.

Lights work well. The color buttons for the green and red were switched on the remote control. I found that if you sting the two strands together, the second strand is slightly less bright. Noticed this when the white was selected. I was able to arrange the lights so that the second strand could be connected to the second output of the power source. Doing that allowed both strands to have the same intensity. Other then that they look cool and add some fun to my outdoor gazebo.

Lights are good. But the controller was awful. First issue was the remote wouldn't work after about 10 minutes. Then, after being on for a couple of hours, the control box started to melt! I mounted these on my camper and direct wired them into the 12V DC system, so there shouldn't have been any problems. Thankfully I noticed the box before we went to bed for the night and immediately shut them off.
