There appears to be one main problem with these bulbs which is that they are extremely sensitive. They repeatedly come on for no reason whatsoever, quickly becoming more irritating than helpful. If I cannot find a suitable place to use them they will be returned. Other motion sensitive bulbs I've used come on when required. Have increased from 1 star to 3 star having found some positive uses for these bulbs.

These bulbs are brilliant idea. I put one in my kitchen just to see how it works. It won’t light up in daytime with enough light in the room but active when darker. The sensor is quite sensitive, the bulbs lights up as soon as I open the door from living room to kitchen, and it will switch off automatically after I left 40 sec later. It’s so handy and convenient. It’s energy saving led as well. Love it. Up date: been using it for a week now, all good.

These bulbs work very well in my windowless garage. I needed two to activate as soon as they detected movement once I had operated the electric door and was leaving the car in total darkness. Four in the pack--excellent value!

I love this lightbulb. I set my bulb for motion detection at night at stairs and toilet for my 8 years old daughter as she was scared of the darkness and it performs exactly as it intended. Little one now so happy and I can sleep all night :) Also I love that seller gives 1 year warranty. Highly recommend them!!! Thanks

These bulbs are great. I am only using one at the moment and that is on the landing and it's great at nighttime for children and I to get around easily without having to look for switches etc. It does as it says.

Bought these for hallway and downstairs loo. Disappointed as they don’t seem to work! Or if they do then only intermittently. In the hallway we have large shades and put it down to this as build not fully exposed so maybe this is why the PIR doesn’t work, however when placed in the toilet with no shade so no obstacle still no joy. I would not recommend these for anyone.

I will be sending this bulb back sadly. Initially it was brilliant, very sensitive, exactly what I needed. However, yesterday the bulb reduced to a dim glow. Tried turning it off and on, nothing but the dim glow. Very disappointing.

Bought this for porch ceiling light. It works very well. It switches on automatically when someone comes into the porch, but only if it's dark. No re-wiring is required to introduce motion sensor light.
