New model has issues
I purchased 9 of these switches back in Feb and love them (Same AZ Item#). However, the 3 I just recently purchased are a different story. The internal z-wave model number is different and they don't work as well. The first of the new model 3-pack had 1 defective switch that was always on, despite what the z-wave status showed. I contacted the seller and they said if a factory reset did not fix it, then I would need to return. Since I purchased as a 3-pack I had to return all 3. I had them send another 3-pack instead of a refund. With the second 3-pack I then had issues with 2 of the switches. Two of them would randomly reboot and one of those would sometimes hang when that happened which required me to unplug the switch in order to reset and get it working again. The reboot would make an audible click, the LED would flash, and the plugged in device would quickly power off and back on again. I again contacted the seller to tell them of the issues. They replied saying they would send the info to their engineer. I waited for a week and ended up returning the second set for a full refund since the random reboots and hangs were persisting even after a factory reset. I am using these with a SmartThings V2 and have tried multiple device handlers. Since these are newer models from the ones I purchased back in Feb, the command classes are different so the handler that worked on the older model (0087) does not work the same as on this new model (1027). I found some handlers in the ST forums specifically designed for this new model which worked great on the ones that functioned normally, but did nothing to fix the ones that would reboot or hang. This is very disappointing since the first 9 I purchased have been working so well.

High latency, unable to access configuration options; overall poor performance
I had a similar experience as another reviewer, I bought one of these from this seller earlier this year that has worked flawlessly. When I looked in the device configuration it showed the manufacturer as Neo Coolcam and these new ones are by Shengzen manufacturing. The outlets paired up fine to an Aeotec controller on a Raspberry Pi 3 running Home Assistant. However I wasn't able to access any of the configuration options through the UI and they didn't seem to accept raw commands with the codes specified in the instructions. On one of the plugs the overload protection would trip randomly with a low-power lamp plugged into it. All three plugs had very high latency, 5-30 seconds to receive an on/off command. At one point my entire z-wave network (only about 15 devices, mostly powered repeaters) slowed to a crawl until I unpaired the outlets. I tried turning off some of the power consumption monitoring functions in case they were flooding my network, but again they didn't seem to receive any config commands being sent to them. Tried several network/node heals and factory resets but nothing worked. All three plugs showed very high receive/response RTT and sent failed packets.Hopefully they start selling the Neo Coolcam version of these again, those are the good ones!

Worked great until it almost caught on fire
I have several of these, and I thought it would be nice to put one on my window air conditioner in my living room where it worked well for a week or so.My girlfriend noticed it was acting weird and turning on and off quickly. I decided to just turn it off.Today, I tried turning it back on and noticed it started doing the same thing. I went to check the plug and it was blinking on and off and making noise. I touched it and it was very hot. I turned off the air conditioner and unplugged it and it was smoking and probably about to catch fire.Shouldn't this thing turn off if it gets above the 13 amps power rating? I don't think it ever got there, but perhaps.Either way, don't put anything with a high power draw on this or you might end up with a fire.
