Works, But Flawed
I wanted to have a wearable camera so I could record my hikes along the nearby nature trails. Sometimes, I come across some incredible wildlife, but by the time I get my phone out and camera app open, I miss the opportunity to take the shot. I decided to give this Mini Spy Hidden Camera a try since it is small, light, and wearable without making me look “geared out.” After using it on several hikes, I’ve come to the conclusion that while I will continue using it for now, I will definitely keep looking for a better wearable camera. On the positive side, the camera performs as it should, and captures very good outdoor footage. The camera produces AVI video files that are 10 minutes in length. Please note that if you are trying to view this on a chromebook, you’ll need to convert the videos from AVI to MP4 or another compatible format or else you’ll just get audio and a black screen. On the negative side, if it’s windy at all, the sound gets fairly muddled. I also had to test and adjust where I clipped the camera so that I could capture images directly in front of me versus views of the sky or the ground. I could not just dangle the camera from the provided lanyard as it bounced too much as I was walking. After much trial and error, I started wearing a cross-body shoulder bag and clipped the camera at about mid sternum. That seemed to do the trick. Another issue is that there is no way to check if you’re recording properly until you get home and plug in the SD card and review your footage. This is an issue with most body or dash cams, but as the buttons on this mini camera can be accidentally depressed easily, and the indicator light is difficult to see, I was constantly worried that I had shut off the camera inadvertently. The biggest problem I encountered, however, was getting the SD card out of the camera. It doesn’t spring out like other SD card ejection systems. I had to use tweezers or a mini flat head screwdriver to remove the card each time.Overall, if they upgraded the SD card ejection system and made the indicator light more visible, I would give this camera another star. As it is, however, I recommend looking for better options.

Great Quality for the Size
The media could not be loaded. This is a very small camera. However, the quality is shockingly good. I reviewed a "non-professional" camera recently that had horrific picture. This camera blows that one away and is in a package about a tenth of the size. Toss in the ability to take stills and to use fully lit infrared, motion detection (which works), and a decent battery life, you really could do worse. It also has a clip, a magnetic mount, so you really could use this for all sorts of purposes. Heck, it even doubles as a webcam. Getting the sd card in and out of it is a pain in the bottom. Operation is a little tricky with only two buttons controlling all aspects of the camera. However, considering what this is mainly for, spying, monitoring, etc., you shouldn't need to do lots of different kinds of manipulation. I'm just surprised at how good the picture is, but you can see for yourself in the video I posted with this review.

Fun to play with but a bit too fiddley
Well, this little camera definitely has it's merits and I think it is mostly in fun rather than full on usefulness. For "spy" type pics and recording than absolutely this little camera is perfect for that. As far as picture quality goes it is as good as my old Motorolla flip phone but not as good as my current IPhone 7, though the night vision aspect is cool. Using it as a nanny cam or other security type monitoring would have to be timely because this runs on a battery that will need to be recharged every 3 to 5 days depending on what it films. For that kind of thing I would use a camera that runs off of a plug in power cord. The camera itself is the size of a gaming dice and here in runs my problems. The camera is tiny, the power buttons are tiny and I needed to use tweezers to insert and extract the SD card which is super tiny. My big fingers lacked the dexterity to really handle this little guy and made my experience more frustrating than fun. The camera also comes complete with clipon, lanyards and other mounting strips as well as mirror discs so it can be implanted into a mirror. But my big mitts are getting in the way of my inner James Bond so I can't say that I have found my brand new forever toy. So far the most fun I have had with it is at night but I really don't go out that often, but who knows, I have a friend who wants to find Bigfoot this might be ideal since we can wear it like a pin and maybe we'll get lucky.
