This is very useful when replacing a rack-and-pinion or just tie rods. This will help you avoid damaging your clock springs.

Works fine for what I need it to do. Don't pay extra for a fancy one unless you use it every day.

Replace the screws !
Good item, but you can tell it's made in China. One of the screws were loose, I went to tighten it and it stripped out. Turned out all I had to do was install a longer screw. Seems they assembled this item with short screws. I think only 2 or 3 threads were biting on all of them. I replaced all 3 screws with ones 1/4" longer and there is no problem.

Well made.
Haven't used it yet. But I like what I have scene so far. Haven't had a alinement come in to try it out so far.

Did not work for me.
This tool did not work for me. After using it to lock the wheel on center and performing an alignment, the wheel was still off center. It is a good concept in theory, but I found it easier to perform the alignment, then if needed, make equal adjustments to get your wheel back on center.
