Makes me feel great and keeps me alive. I had digestive reconstruction in 2018 so I am extremely careful of what I ingest. I have two Vanilla Myoplex meal replacements daily and a decent lunch. In the morning I take 12 ounces of hot coffee and a large cup of ice and combine it with a vanilla Myoplex and blend it. It’s amazing! Then at night I take a cup of frozen fruit, Myoplex, ice, and some Orange Juice and blend it. Both styles taste amazing to me. I also enjoy the feeling of the granulated ice throughout both. They are both mid-calorie healthy meal replacements.

Fantastic taste and when mixed right it tastes exactly like a strawberry milkshake. I mix about 6 ice cubes with about 6 ounces of water and blend a little. Then I add the powder and blend for about 1 minute. Do not add too much water. You can always add a little at a time if it is too thick. The ice gives it the texture of a milkshake. Occasionally I will add half a scoop of protein powder for a super protein shake.

When I originally bought this I did not like the taste. After seeing it sit in my cabinet for months I decided to try it again with different recipe. I love it with 3 frozen strawberries, 1/4 cup frozen blueberries and 1 whole banana with 1 cup of water and I love it!

When I found this I thought original would mean what this product was like years ago when it was originally launched then became wildly popular due to Bill Philips "Body for Life" program back in the late 1990s. I really enjoyed those shakes back then as they were thick, different than what it seems to be defined as thick today, and had a good flavor with quite a bit more volume. At that time you needed at least 12oz and preferably 16oz of liquid to mix them with. In fact, the best were 16oz of milk(of your choice) with one packet of chocolate and a banana or two tossed into a blender...those early days they weren't great for just shaking by hand in a bottle although it could be done.These shakes are not at all like those originals. These are more like what is so common today of thin, extra sweet, and foamy. While it's not 'bad' it is not the original formula or type from the 'good'ol days' of when I enjoyed these. So for any of you that are looking for that true original formula, texture, and taste this is not it and based on that context I wouldn't recommend.If you're just looking for a current day thin shakeable mix that you can get by with a lower amount of liquid then this is an okay choice especially given the protein content.
