The installation was super easy: I just connected it to the HDMI port, configured it with my WiFi network and that's it. The voice remote control works very well, is fast at recognizing commands and facilitates navigation.You have access to many apps such as Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, and also free and live channels, which is a great plus. The image quality is excellent, even in HD it looks very sharp. In addition, it is compact and almost invisible behind the TV.

I bought this to subvert the awful Google OS on a cheap smart TV we bought. Works like a dream. It’s fast, responsive, great compatibility with apps and devices. It runs off of the TV power and even controls the on/off and volume so I never have to deal with that old OS again. Saved our TV from the junk pile.

I’ve been using Roku devices for a couple of years now, and while they’re not perfect, I find them much better than Fire TV. I recently purchased this Roku Streaming Stick to replace my last remaining Fire TV, mainly because Amazon kept charging me for subscriptions I never signed up for. The final straw was getting an email about a trial subscription they claimed I started, even though I was sitting in front of the TV at the time and know for sure it wasn’t me. After calling Amazon to cancel the trial, I decided I was done with the Fire TV shenanigans and switched to Roku.As for the Roku itself, I’m really happy with it. It offers a ton of free content, the user interface is easy to navigate, and one of my favorite features is the ability to stream audio to my phone or headphones. This is perfect for watching late at night without disturbing anyone who’s sleeping. Overall, I highly recommend the Roku Streaming Stick for a hassle-free streaming experience.

Very easy to set up & saves me the monthly Xfinity fee for the extra box because the Xfinity streaming app available on Roku (current price = 2 months rental fee). FYI using the Xfinity streaming app on Roku does not count against monthly data usage as long as you are using your home wifi network (i.e. using the app at home). Plus I am enjoying the free Roku channels too. Only wish that the Roku remote can be programed/used as a universal remote to control the soundbar.

I am not a techie person and this device made setup so quick and easy! I used the stick to connect an old non-smart tv (with an HDMI port) to my cable service so I could get rid of the monthly cable box rental. Highly recommend for this purpose.

A feature is to be able to control the power on/off as well as volume of the TV after making some settings changes which is easy. Sometimes though I still need to reach for my TV remote to control those, don't know if it misses connections or what. Other than that, it is a good streaming device., Connected it to HDMI port and the USB for power. You also have to sign up and give private info, don't think it'll let you get around that. It's free, don't need to pay for you to use Prime or Max or netflix. My TV is older so it's a relief it actually works with it./ No battery. Easy to setup and use. Device is responsive to the remote. Remote has easy UI./
